  1. “Not everything that is learned is contained in books”

Learning is the activity that all of us have to do during our life. We have been learning since the moment we are born to the moment we die, this is the only way for us to survive and live normally in this world. Many people attend schools to gain knowledge, whereas others gain their knowledge from their experience in life, both ways provide us with much valuable knowledge. However, in my opinion, I think that experience is the more important source of knowledge.
A philosopher from India said that: “There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.” Learning is a process in which you try to get certain knowledge for predetermined purposes. It is undeniable that we learn all the time we breathe, a baby when given birth learns to cry to find shelter and milk; then some months or years later, he learns how to crawl, walk, and run; after several years of learning basic surviving skills, he enter the world of wider and deeper knowledge, and use it as an essential part of his life ever after.
But academic knowledge is not all, and it has also been said: “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” A book can give you moments of relaxation and famous sayings but it cannot provide you the deep understanding of life; neither passing an examination nor finishing with education can make you be ready to encounter difficulties of the real life. Qualifications are record of what you have learned, but they are not relevant to what you need to know to live normally in this world. Remembering theories is not all, you need to look for ways to apply it to your real job and your everyday life, that is when you are learning.
Similarly, knowledge from books and knowledge from experience have the same source, which is the real life. While experience is what people get from the world around them, books are records of it. Humans have never stopped watching and thinking about things around them and they have tried to preserve the knowledge they got in many ways, including books. People from all over the world have gone many places and seen many things, they have written about these so that they can preserve the knowledge they have to get with a great deal of effort, and that later generation can use this information.
Knowledge gained from books cannot be compared with that gained from experience. I say that because books provide us with many theories and conception, but they cannot give us opportunities to practice those things. People say that “Practice makes perfect”, indeed, only by practicing can you deeply understand what are mentioned in books, we can see what we read with our own eyes, this can excite us and make us more engaged in the knowledge that we have read. Both books and experiences provide us with knowledge, but the ways we approach the knowledge are different and what we get are different.
As the conclusion, for me, sources of experience is more important it is because everyone can have books, books are everywhere. It can buy from the bookstores without difficulties, just select and pay for them but experience cannot be bought, it need to think about it, practice and produce itself. Actually, books are attached to experience they cannot be created or even thought of without experience, just because they are products of experience and the motivation that forces people to preserve knowledge for future use.

  2. It has been said, ‘Not everything that is learned is contained in books.’ Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?
According to Oxford dictionary, knowledge means facts, information, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. In my own words, knowledge is something that we learn on daily basis and also applications. Knowledge is essential, but knowledge alone certainly isn’t enough. We must be able to act on our knowledge. We must put it to work because doing is how we learn and how we ultimately prove ourselves. Therefore, knowledge gained from experience is much more important than books even though we need to bargain it with time.
Knowledge gained from experience plays a more important role than books in one’s successes. A book written by a person can only reflect a few aspects of one’s minds. That is called knowledge gained from book. However, if you learn from the person directly rather than through the book he wrote, you can obtain a big feast of his minds. This is called knowledge gained from experiences. So we believe that experience is more important than knowledge.

Truth comes from experience and practice. Experience is the mother of knowledge.
Experience is the only way to prove whether the knowledge true or false. Textbooks are very wonderful in teaching people essential principles, common sense, and basic law in the world. We can learn a lot through nursery, primary school, middle school and university. But people can only understand the real meaning of knowledge in the books and judge them if they’re right. For instance, a few hundred years ago, people learnt from books that the earth was flat. However, astronomers found it wrong through their experience of observations and measurement. Thus, this proves why knowledge gained from experience is more important than knowledge gained from books.

We live in a world with real people rather than knowledge or dead papers. As we all know, the knowledge in books is too limited and inflexible to cope with all the things in society and nature. A learned person without experience couldn’t live in the modern society because he lacks the ability of applying knowledge to the task he is assigned to. While an experienced person without knowledge can live on his own, even may becomes a millionaires. Many scientists didn’t have access to school to learn knowledge in the history. A lot of inventions were invented by their experience of trial and error, such as Edison who invented the bulb-light. Only trust in the knowledge written by predecessors and ancestors, we would still live in the world with candles.

  3. "Not everything that is learned is contained in book"

In this world, all of us must gain more knowledge as much that as we can. The knowledge are important for us as a human being to make sure we can achieve all the things that we want to achieve in our life. All the knowledge we can get in many way as we want. Nowadays we can get many kind of sources to make sure that we can get all the knowledge that we want.
Some poeple think that more knowledge we can get from the books and some other poeple think that we can get from the exprienced that we had get after we done all the things that we need to do especially in the practical field. These two sources are same important to make sure we get the better knowledge for ourself. When we know the theory we can do the practical much better in all the things tha we need to do.
For me, the experiences is important to make sure we done the correct things after we had learn it from the theory side. From the exprienced that we get, we can identified the things that we should correct if we know the things that we had done was wrong or need to add something to make sure it will be perfect correct. But in this world no body are perfect in any kind of things.
We always heard that we must learn from our own mistake. It is the important things because it will make sure thatbwe does not done the same mistake in other time in the future. After we get the bad experience, we can be more alert whe we want to do the same things after that. We will be more carefull to make sure we not done the same mistake that had we done before.
For me the experience are important for us to be better person in our career because it happen to myself where i need to be better in practical and thoery. We cannot to much depend on the thoery side if we doesn't have any experience to do anythings in our job soon.

  4. Essay no. 2
Peoples are start learning since child birth. Most of us will go through the educational system in the repetitive country. We need to start with primary school, secondary school until universities and further more. These are the place we gained the knowledge, facts, history, theories from the sources of textbook, internet and tuition class. But, the theories cannot be proving if we are not practices and carry out the experiment. From the failure of experiment, we can get the experience on what the things really look like such as the Newton’s Law of gravity.
In my opinion, knowledge is gained from experience greater than from books if it come to my nursing career. The experience is come first then knowledge which is the theories part is because our jobs are more depending on skills and critical thinking rather than just knowledge recall such as the injection procedure. For example, I can memorise all the injection site, location for injection and principle of injection. But, I was shivering when I first time to perform it. So, I need to practice more to prevent same things happen which can cause the loss of confidence level and image toward the nurses.
Other than that, I was thinking that without the repetition on failure of experiments, moreover, the new invention will not develop if just an armchair strategist. There are a lot new inventions and new products which could not be found from textbooks. Our society and world are developed through continuous practices along the renewal and upgrading of knowledge which could not found in books and internet. For example, the invention of cytotoxic drug had reduced rate the mortality with who are suffering on cancer disease combined with radiation treatment. It needs a long period of trying drug and sufficient data to improve whether there is a problem on dosage or its chemical contain. All of this is based on experience based.
Furthermore, in my opinion the statement of “not everything that is learned is contained in books” is right because I was difficult to differentiate the disease if I not seen the real conditions. The real conditions can help me to get deep impression on the symptoms, characteristic and treatment that will carry out on patient. In clinical area, we can apply our theories on a real man and monitor their response towards the treatment such as adverse reaction or complication. From there, we are try to give different care plan for the patient according their severity not just generally knowledge that written in book. The human is flexible and try to find the solution which is not have been taught in textbook. This is not same with the inflexible of the book.
In conclusion, my point is knowledge is gained from experience rather than knowledge is gained from book. The step by step follow the book instruction will not bring any development to the country and folk, however, it is vice versa if we always think out of the box.

The experience is more important during the job. Whatever learned is contained in books also help to get experience about the knowledge. So that, I will like to choose experience during the job because has benefit for the people to get the job. Nowadays, many of the company will like to take the worker which has a good and long experience. This also, the worker must has ability to do the job as well to make the company interest to take as a worker. Different of the learned from the book, the people usually do not expose to the real work and only know the basic and knowledgeable.
The worker that has experience, is can do work very well and properly. They can manage their job in real situation by their experience. They have more confident to do the job and make the people trust them to handle their job. For example, the people that have experience to handle the mechanical about many years can handle the situation as well and good performance. Therefore, the graduation student that do not have more experience also still learn by book and try to do job for first time.
The experience also is more important because people can learn by looking and touching what that they learned. If they just following the book, they can not expose to the real situation and only do some imaginations to understand about what they learn. By the experience, people are easy to get the job because of their ability.
The environment is the situation that the experience person usually has attempt with the new environment. The good experience makes them to do the job properly and they know to attend the situation more confidently by their knowledge and experience. The person who like has many year experience such as nurses, when she transfer to the new hospital she can do the job well by her experience. Whatever, if the job environment is different with the new place she can handle the patient so carefully and has good teamwork with the other staff.
People who have ability and experience also can make the people trust and believe them to do some work. For example, the job that more use technique and skill is the very important to get the experience person. The good skill and technique can make the work become better and successful. Therefore, they have more change to get job and may to stand with high level in job.
Nowadays, many of the graduation student do not has job because of they do not has experience. Whatever, they already got practically they do not has many year experience. However, the people who have experience are their fact. The people who are almost learned by book usually can not do job well because they do not have skill and experience.

It has been said, “ Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?
In Oxford advanced learner’s dictionary said that book is a set of printed pages that are fastened inside a cover so that you can turn them and read them. An experience means the knowledge and skill that you have gained through doing something for a period of time. Also know as the process of gaining this. That what are dictionary said. Even book and experience have a little bit same meaning, but there is a different. I think the good source is an experience than a book. Even we know that we learned a new subject must come from a book. But only depend on a book is not a good source. But if we also have an experience, that is a god source.
Book just gives explanations to make us more understand. If we do not have a skill is like useless. It is because if we understand about the something but we not practise it, it is useless. We must practise it. For example, in nursing we had touch about how to give the injection? First of all we must know the definition, indication and reasons why we must give an injection. But are we always practise it? Are we can perform well and not shake our hand during give the injection? The answer is easy. If we always practise, we have an experience to perform it. So if we must do a injection and practise it to a real patient we already have a confident to do that. It is because we always practise it. Like people always said that practise make perfect.
Other than that we also can look in another fact. Usually employer we choose who person have an experience to fill the job. Even the employer wants a certificate they also will look at their experience. It shows that the person have an interesting experience. For example, there are two people who want fill the job. One person just has their own certificate but not have any experience in the job. But another person has the certificate and also has an experience before this. The employer will take the person who has the certificate and experience. It is because the employer was preferred to person who has an experience. It good for their company because the experience person know how to do a job and know they will easy to understand than a person who did not have an experience.
Although book is a directly learning, but we must have some experience. Let say if we want do a biscuit, firstly we will look into book, but another time we can directly do without look at the book. It is because we already have an experience.
Last but not least, even book can teach us to understand something, but we must have an experience. So read book is not enough we must have experience because we can apply our experience in our job and also in our life.

Experience is the best way to be the source to get the knowledge. The important of gain knowledge from the experience has pro and contrasts with gain knowledge from the book. The advantages of gain knowledge whether from the book or experience is depend on the scope of the profession that we involve. The profession that need more skill practice that bring the priority of important to gained knowledge from the experience, while the profession that more stress on the collection of fact and need material of references means the book is suitable guide as the source of knowledge.
First of all, the experience is best knowledge in order to improve our skill. Experience is the best source of knowledge because from the experience people will be able to get quality of life. 8. Question 2:
In our life, we learn everything that has happened indirectly. No matter what it is, good or bad, we surely will take that as learning process and improve ourselves by reflect it back. Our life in the world is like a wheel. One time we are up to the sky, and the other time, we will fall to the ground badly. So, in this matter, experience plays an important role because from there, we learn our mistakes and try to prevent it from recurring.
As a student nurse, there are many skills that I need to grab and master it in order to be excelling in my career. Though there are many books that teach about procedures, it is less efficient compared to experience we gain from the clinical posting. It does not take into account if you able to memorize all the content in the book, you can perform the procedure perfectly like in the book. Let say, administer parenteral medications. In the book, the steps are well shown one by one, but, when it comes to practice it to the real person, you are sure to shaking and all the procedures you have remembered are gone. Especially, if you doing it for the very first time. So, it is proves that experience is the best teacher.
Nursing career is the profession that demands us to communicate and facing many types of peoples. At the college, lecturers taught us about communication skill. They taught us about how to greet, explain and give health education to patient. We also need to practice it amongst friends with the reason, we can familiarize the skills. It is still, not enough for student like us to practice the communication skills. Practice it with friends is different with real patient. Most of the times, we are not serious during practice and our friends are not really helpful in correcting our sentences, vocabulary and grammar. When communicate with the real patient, we can learn little by little by ourselves our mistakes. So, experience in communicate with the real patient really improves our communication skills.
At the college, we have been taught about how to handling patient in many incidents. Lecturers have done their part in giving the lectures about care of the patient and demonstrate to us the steps to rescue the patient. For example, Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation procedure. It is a life saving and require a great skill to perform it, or otherwise, we might kill the patient. Perform it onto the mannequin look simple and easy but without experience, don’t you dare to touch the patient. We always had been told about it by lecturers for so many times. From there, we can see that experience really play an important role for us to master some skills so that we could save patient’s life.
We are matured through experiences. Like me, I have been exposed to clinical posting for more than 5 times and I have encountered so many types of patients. There were fussy patients, kind, anxious and even the one who were dying. From here, I able to learn how to face all of them and find a creative way to give the best care to them so that they were all satisfied with my services. We are better than we are before in the first semester. Compared to semester one, our knowledge is like little and we are like a baby who do not know about anything. As time goes by, we slowly learn and develop a matured behaviour as we are growing up. We are no longer babies who always need to be feed but we are now become somebody who are able to be fed by ourselves. That is why, experience taught us to be matured.
As a conclusion, knowledge from experiences is a way better than knowledge from the books as I am in the field of nursing, that required me to grab as many as experiences in order to makes myself one of the excellent nurses. Furthermore, knowledge from experiences is wider compared to knowledge from books because books only tell us the facts, otherwise experiences taught us the reason behind something.

It has been said, “ Not everything than is learned is contained in books.”Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experiences with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which sources is more important? Why?

People are learning and developing throughout their whole lives, they have gained knowledge not only from books but also from practice and experience.Knowledge is what allows us to advance to a better life.Learning process started from birth until adult. In my opinion, knowledge from books are important. Following reasons could explain why.
For me knowledge are very important, without knowledge people easier to look down ward towards us. Knowledge is important, because it makes you aware of whats around you. Knowledge also enables a person to become wealthy. Survival of living can sometimes depend on how much knowledge we have.
As a students knowledge are the most important, it is because as a student nurses they should got a critical thinking and knowledgable. Before nurses working with real situation in the hospitals, they need to learned about human conditon, about the diseases, medication and management and also have certificated, that as a proof that they will perform infront the patient and doctors.Sometimes patients will asking a lot of question regarding his condition. Patient need more explanation and understanding about his diseases. Not to patients, sometimes doctor will asking the quetions to the nurses. So that, as nurses or other students they should knowlegable.
Without knowledge it difficult to worked any companies. How to handle the bussnisess if the simple things like a simple calculation are failed to do it? So that everthing in the world need knowledge. As a housewife also need knowledge, how their can manage house, and handle their children. How can mothers cooked for families without knowledge. As we know cooked also need skills but without basic knowledge it also can’t done well.
In conclusion, whatever we done it need knowlweadge, since birth, until adults even we died need to learned to get knowleadge, without that are difficult in live. Experiences cannot performed without knowledge.

  10. Question 2.

It has been said, “Not everything that is learned in books”. We have been learning since the moment we are born to the moment we die, as this is the only way for all of us to survive and live normally in this world. Many people attend schools to gain knowledge, whereas others gain their knowledge from their experience in life. However, in my opinion, I think that knowledge gained from experience is the most important source of knowledge.
Books only provide us with many theories and conception but they cannot give us opportunities to practise those things. As people say that “Practise Makes Perfect”, indeed only by practising, we can deeply understand of what are mentioned on books. By the way, in our nursing career, experience will comes first then knowledge because they are more depends on skills and critical thinking rather than vomit out on what we memorized. There is a scenario where we study about injection procedure. We can understand remember on injection site and the principles. But during our practical session, as for first time holding syringe in front of patient, we will feel shivering and hand shaking.
Similarly, knowledge from books and experience has the same source which is in the real life. While experience is what people get from the world around them, books are record of it. Humans have not stopped watching and thinking about things around them. They keep on preserve their knowledge in many ways including books. People from all over the world have gone many places and see many things, written on a great deal effort and published over the world and let the later generation use the information.
Everyone can get books, books are everywhere. We can buy books in bookstores without any difficulties, just select them and paid for it. Besides, we can learn from books, what we learn from this source can be gained from other people such as teachers, parents or even stranger ones. It is because knowledge from books gained from what people see and hear from the real life. In contrast the knowledge from experience require us to learn much, practise much and think much. Experience cannot be bought, we need to think about it, practise and produce.
In the nutshell, a philosopher from India said that, “There is no end to education. It is not that we read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment we are born to the moment we die, is a process of learning.” Learning is a process in which we try to get certain knowledge for predetermined purposes. 11. Learning process is something that not easy. In the process of learning we need the source so that our learning process may become success. For the examples, as a student, besides all the notes that has been given by the teacher or lecture, we also need another source such as books or internet to get the better information and as a reference. It show that the books or internet also important in the learning process. Although the books are important as a source to looking for the information, not all the knowledge we may get in the book. It is because we also can gain the knowledge from experience.
Sometimes the experience we can get the better visual of what we will do. I will take the examples from the student nurse. As a student nurse, besides learn about theory, they also have to practice whatever they have learnt in the real situation. It is something that not easy because practice it in the real patient may test our credibility whether we can became a good nurse or not in the future.
Besides that, I think that knowledge from experience can help us more. It is not that contain in the book is not enough to us but what we gained from experience will make us remember more. For examples, if we want to learn how to cook some dished, of course we will us the book to know what is the ingredient and also how to cook it. But if we not try that recipe on our own, how can we know that we are able to cook it or not? So that after try it for the first time, I am sure that we will be able to cook again for the second time because we already got the experience.
Whatever it is, I am sure that learning process is depends on our own self. It is our choice to choose which source that good to us. Books or experience, both of it will give us benefits and we must appreciate whatever we have.

  12. It has been said, “Not everything than is learned is contained in books.”Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experiences with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?
Knowledge is one of the important parts in our life. Without knowledge our life will not be easier. We had learned from our first time born to the word that been teach by our parents. In our globalization country knowledge is very important to do everything such as to get job and to earn money. Knowledge gain from book with knowledge gain from experience, the most important between these two things are knowledge gain from experience.
Knowledge gains from experience are the most important. This is because experiences are the work that we had done so many times and we get it from other person. A book written by a person can only reflect a few aspects of one’s minds. That is called knowledge gained from book. For an examples when the person who work as mechanic they had gain their knowledge from their experience, so that they know how to repair the car.
Experience is the best source of knowledge because from the experience people will be able to get quality of life. Now in global world that people could not get their job easily, they must have some experience one or two years works. Experience gives different way in order to gain the knowledge and job better than gain knowledge from the books. We can see for examples graduate from Universities, there are many of them didn’t get the job because they didn’t have any experience. They are the best in facts but bad in experience.
The very important part to get really good knowledge is when we get knowledge from books and experience at the same time. When we get if at the same time we will remember forever because of we apply the knowledge together. For examples being a nurse, we can get the experience and apply knowledge from books that we had learned on the patients. Nurse is a good job because we are continuous studying a new things every day.
Knowledge gained from books cannot be compared with that gained from experience. This is because books provide us with many theories and conception, but they cannot give us opportunities to practice those things.
In conclusion knowledge get from experience are the very best knowledge. Sometimes get knowledge from books and experience at the same time is the best source. Between this two things that I can said is theories is good when we have exam in school or college but experience is important because we can apply it at exam paper and also when we work.

Experience is the knowledge and skill that the person gained through doing something for a period of time. Learning is the activity that all of us have to do during our life. In my opinion, the most important source that we can gain our knowledge is from an experience. It is because without the experience, the person did not feel with that situation and the person only has a less of skill. So, when the person want to perform, it will make difficulty to do because less of experience. From my idea, learn from experience mean that the person needs to demonstrate or perform so that the person will learn from their mistake.
As a future staff nurses, we need to learn from the experience then the book. It actually need more experience than the book. For an example, the nurses need to give an injection to the patient. So if their less of experience, it will make a nervous then will injury the patient. From experience also will know that person is a good or else. For example, many companies will choose a good person that had many experience then the brilliant person. It is because the companies only want the person that good and had many experience so it will make the work easier.
Nowadays, in the global world we can hear that many people who had certificated in degree did not get the job. Many companies now choose at list 1 or 2 years an experience before take the person to work in their company. Experience is the only way to prove whether the knowledge true or false. It is because we can perform what that had we learn in the work. Not everyone perfect in this world show that we must learn from the mistake so we can be a good person or worker in future.
People say that “Practice makes perfect”, indeed that learn from experience better than book. It mean the way of encouraging people by telling them that if they do an activity regularly and try to improve your skill, you will become very good at it. It was one of approve that learn from an experience much better than book. For an example, as we can see, the person who work as mechanic need more experiences to repair the cars. If their only learn from the book, they cannot repair the car completely and maybe will destroy that car.
As the conclusion, experience is much better learning than refer to the book. But if we can conclude both of the learning, it will better because without book, we cannot get the specific information. For an example, as a staff nurse we need to read the book so that we can perform the procedure. So both of learning method is very important learning so that we can gain our knowledge to be a better person.

  14. 2nd essay .
In this new generation globalization ,so many technology already build up by people, but how they all can produce the technology if without knowledge and invention before they improves or change the thing such as car, telephone and machine. From I know what I had read in book, many invention produce one thing with their experience , after complete produce it, they will try the thing such as air plane produce by bright brothers, this invention always want to try to make air plane, after try many time the air plane not also fly, they can detect what problem and not complete in that thing. So from that I can know their produce one thing without refer a book.
From that I agree with the statement “not everything is learned is contained in books”. For the certain course we take it may be more refer to the book such as religion subject, moral subject because that subject we learn in book first and then practical it. If we take occupational such as care assistant in hospital, they not have knowledge to work in hospital, but after every day work in hospital, from the experience they can improve their self and know how to make it with correct. They also can learn from staff in hospital to make their perfect in work.
Other than that, from book we learn and we practice it also to get better understanding, such as course in nurse, in college we learn from book, but we cannot imagine what book said if we do not have see it in your life. After theory at the college, we will be sent to hospital for practical, from that we can know how to apply what we learn in book, and get more better clearance. If we have done one mistake, it will be reflect back to us, from experience we can improve it and more practice it can be more perfect.
Each person in this world has the good experience and also bad experience but this thing not write in book. From good experience we can always remember it and want to make it again in your life, but for bad experience we also remember it but we must improve it and not want to it happen again. If we have done mistake in front of people we must take the critic and complain from them, that will be make us to be more matured and learn from the experience.
As the conclusion, experience is more better than learn only from book, we can improve from mistake in experience and we can see it happen in front of your eye. Experience is good thing to make us to think what we learn in our life.

  15. 2) Not everything that is learned is contained in books.
Not everything that is learned is contained in books. From the experience also can gain the knowledge. Experience is the best teachers to a person to move on in their future life better. Mistake that happen in past will make the person realize the problem and ensure it will not happen again. Knowledge is important in life because from the knowledge that they get, they can recognize the problem that occur and try to solve it with the knowledge that they have.
As student, knowledge is important because it show how much the knowledge that they get from their learning process. From book they can get a lot of sources but they only know the sources by using imagination. Student can apply it by doing the practical and from that the student will get more intelligent and experience when the source is being solve by them self. Student is a person that still in learning. Anything that they have done wrong will reflect them to correct it back. From that the student learns how to find out the way how to solve the problem that they have and that give them new experience.
As all people know, went for interview also needs an experience because from the experience they will see what kind of work that can the person do for them. A lot of experiences help a person in many things in this world such as for working especially. Lack of knowledge and experience does not help anything because the person cannot do nothing and do not know what to do. It is easier for all people to get a job when they gain a lot of knowledge from experience.
More experience that the person get will make them become more matured because they see what have they do and from that they will know which part that they have to improve and which part that they should not do. A knowledge from book also help a lot because they get an information from it and know what is happen around them. Some time book give information that is not totally correct and the person need to search in another book to get the full information.
As a conclusion, knowledge from experience and knowledge from book is good for the person and no such a bad thing with in it. It helps in every thing to survive in life on this world. All people have their own way to gain their knowledge either in experience or using books.

  16. It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books”. Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

Learning is the activity that we have to do during our life. Many people attend schools and colleges to gain knowledge, whereas others gain their knowledge from their experience in life, both is the ways to provide us with mush valuable knowledge. However, in my opinion, I think that knowledge from experience is most important to source of knowledge better than knowledge from the books
Knowledge from books and knowledge from experience have the same source but are different knowledge. For the example, the book can give us moment of relaxation and famous saying but it cannot provide us the deep understanding of life, neither passing an examination on finishing with education can make us be ready to think that difficulties of the real life. Remembering theories is not all we need to look for ways to apply it to the real job and everyday life that is when we are learning.
For me, knowledge from experience very easy to remembered furthermore in clinical posting. Experience is most important in clinical area. For examples, during did the procedure such as giving injection to the patient we get a feeling and knowledge with patient also. If we just reading from the book about procedure, we don’t know how feeling when face to face with patient because some people very shy and scared face to face another people furthermore when giving injection. It also gives us spirit to make perfect during do the procedure and we also can do the procedure many times to maintain good learning. If we just reading from book, we will get little bit to remembered and also just to passing the exam.
On the other hands, the people have never stopped watching and thinking about things around them and they have tried to get the knowledge and got many ways including from book. For the example, if we read from books to know about many places, that they never can see that places like the Cameron Highland and just know details about it from the book through the pictures and some information in book. We need to be explored and make us to learn non-stop and always remember forever and ever like a sweet memories. For me this is most important because knowledge from experience make me remember forever.
However, knowledge gained from books cannot be compared that gained from experience. I mean that because books provide us with many theories and to passing the exam, but cannot give us opportunities to practice these things. People always said “Practice make perfect”, only by practicing that can give us deeply understand what are mentioned from the book.
In a conclusion, knowledge from experience and knowledge from books have a relationship and they support each other but knowledge from experience we will get more knowledge compare the knowledge from book. Actually, books are attached to experience, they cannot be created or even thought of without experience just because they are products of experience and the motivation.

  17. LAN 1001 : English Language Writing
    Assignment
Assignment : It has been said, “Not
    everything that is learned is
    contained in books.”

Learning is acquiring new knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, preferences or understanding, and may involve synthesizing different types of information. Progress over time tends to follow learning curves. Human learning may occur as part of education, personal development, or training. It may be goal-oriented and may be aided by motivation. Learning may occur as a result of habituation or classical conditioning or as a result of more complex activities.

Do we need book knowledge or is practical experience enough to taste and enjoy continued success in life? The truth is that there are advantages to both book learning and experience, and life is a success only when you are able to find the right mix of both these vital ingredients. The combination depends on the kind of person you are and the career you choose to enter.

Knowledge is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as expertise, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education, the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. Knowledge is also what is known in a particular field or in total, facts and information, or awareness or familiarity gained by experience of a fact or situation. Knowledge acquisition involves complex cognitive processes: perception, learning, communication, association and reasoning. The term knowledge is also used to mean the confident understanding of a subject with the ability to use it for a specific purpose if appropriate.

Knowledge can be acquired from many sources. These include books, teachers and practical experience, and each has its own advantages. The knowledge we gain from books and formal education enables us to learn about things that we have no opportunity to experience in daily life. We can study all the places in the world and learn from people we will never meet in our lifetime, just by reading about them in books. We can also develop our analytical skills and learn how to view and interpret the world around us in different ways. You need new facts and information on subjects that are constantly changing and where knowledge is being updated continuously. Furthermore, we can learn from the past by reading books. In this way, we won’t repeat the mistakes of others and can build on their achievements.

Practical experience, on the other hand, can give us more useful knowledge. It is said that one learns best by doing, and I believe that this is true, whether one is successful or not. In fact, I think making mistakes is the best way to learn. It is easy to become an expert if you keep trying out what you want to do. Moreover, if one wants to make new advances, it is necessary to act. Innovations do not come about through reading but through experimentation.

Finally, one can apply the skills and insights gained through the study of books to practical experience, making an already meaningful experience more meaningful. However, unless it is applied to real experiences, book knowledge remains theoretical and, in the end, is useless. That is why I believe that knowledge gained from practical experience is more important than that acquired from books. In today’s world, it would seem that experience has the edge over book learning. So, while experience is important, it loses its value unless built on a solid foundation of book learning, one that has been built brick by brick through school and college.

  18. It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

The knowledge can be gained from various places and sources. It is important to gain knowledge in whatever situations. Knowledge is important to make our life matured and useful. For me, the best knowledge is gained from the experience because the life comes from life itself. Experience can be defined as the observing, encountering, or undergoing of things generally as they occur in the course of time. Learning from experience may improve us from nothing to something. Situations and experiences in someone’s life play an important role in teaching and contributing to knowledge and gained a better life.
Knowledge from experience may teach us how to deal with new and difficult situations. Difficult situations are important to built our confident and responsibility. For instance, riding a bicycle cannot be learnt by reading books. We need to practise and ride the bicycle many times to make sure we become master with that. Although, we will falling down while riding a bicycle but it may make us become more strong and able to cope with anything harder than that.
Moreover, knowledge that we gained from life will make us remember what we have done before. Mistakes are not easily to forget and always be remembered. For example, as a student nurse, injection may become a hardest thing to learn. It needs a lot of practices and on first time doing injection, it may hurt the patient and we may be scolded. From that experience, we can improve ourselves and can do the procedure better later on.
In addition, to find a good friends are not easy and we cannot find them in books also. Good friends will be found through experiences. From books, it only show the characteristics of good friends but to find the same characteristics as same as in the books are difficult to do. For instance, from previous experience we can choose the good friends of us. If there someone who betrays us in the past, maybe in present we can avoid all these type of friends. From experience, we can choose which one is better or not and it will make us become more matured than before.
Furthermore, the knowledge gained from books is not enough if we not apply it practically. From books we only can get the information but experience may help us to built strength and confident. Experience also may help us to find job with high salary. For instance, some company only want to hire a person who got more experiences than fresh graduates who got distinction in their study. From that we can conclude that experience may bring us bright future.
As conclusion, books are the source of information but experience is the best source for human to learn about something. Experience may lead us to positive side and give us opportunity to improve ourselves to be a better person. Experience also can reflect our own attitude and other will judge us with what their see and what we did. Appreciate the experience to make sure our future brighter and meaningful.

  19. It has been said” Not everything is learned is contained in books”. Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from experience with the knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which is more important?
Knowledge is important for us as a human being. To live our life in this world. We need knowledge to learn step by step starting when we were only a child until we are big enough to stand on both feet. The knowledge is gained to get a higher education which will ensure a bright future. Therefore, even when we are old enough we still have to continue our studies by gaining as much of knowledge that we can get either through books or experience.
There are two sources of gaining knowledge either through books and experience. Without the theory sources from books we are unable to apply in our daily living. Even a small knowledge may bring benefits to us. Knowledge that we gain through experience is limited to our ability, and our opinions. Books contents contain so many thing about this world, even where we never seen or been through, about the history-when is impossible for us to spend. In other words, from-books knowledge is very helpful for what we can't experience and places that we never have been too .Atlas we will have the knowledge and having a view how the places is and where it is located, even it’s the smallest places in the world.
Furthermore, without books, how can we discover about outer space? Obviously, it is impossible to know that from experiences. By gaining knowledge from books is not only a broader source but also an efficient way to learn. It can help us save a lot of time and energy, because the knowledge from books can help us understand things more quickly and event better, For example when I want to do my homework, I must learn theory lessons in books because it can help me understand and complete my homework quickly and in less time.
However, we can’t deny that from experience we do gain knowledge by learning from our mistakes and we do keep improving ourselves. Besides gaining knowledge, experience helps as it act as a reflection and a moral value. Day by day, we will learn to improve ourselves to be a better person.
To sum up, both of the sources is important. But the main sources of knowledge are book. Books contents do contain many of knowledge in every aspects of life such as books contain the history of our ancestors. Even the tradition of a religion is carried by through the generation. Without theory and further detail we are unable to follow the correct way in applying to our live.

  20. 2) IT HAS BEEN SAID, “NOT EVERYTHING THAT IS LEARNED IS
CONTAINED IN BOOKS.”COMPARE AND CONTRAST KNOWLEDGE
GAINED FROM EXPERIENCES WITH GAINED FROM BOOKS.IN YOUR
    OPINION,WHICH SOURCE IS MORE IMPORTANT.WHY?

Knowledge is defined as facts, information, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject.

For example, if we as a teacher, they really must gained knowledge from book more than gained knowledge from an experiences. That is because, teacher must read more. But, if we as a nurse we must more skills than theory because we deal with the patients. So, that depends on our career.

However, knowledge gained from books cannot be compared with that gained from experience. Both books and experiences provide us with knowledge, but the ways we approach the knowledge are different and what we get are different too.

Besides that, knowledge from experience and knowledge from books have a relationship and they support each other. Actually, books are attached to experience; they cannot be created or even thought of without experience, just because they are products of experience and the motivation that forces people to preserve knowledge for future use. But how do books support experience? When you practice something, you get experience, but to know whether your experience is correct or not, besides verifying it through real life, you may also look for it in books and compare between your conclusion and theories in books. This way, you can use old and certain knowledge to confirm the new and uncertain one.

In conclusions, it is fact that knowledge from experiences is much more valuable than books because in industry or working sector, employees can get high salary for their experiences on their work.

  21. “Not everything that we learned is contained in the book”. Knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from the books, which source that you think more important? For me, knowledge gained from experience is more important and make us uneasily forget the knowledge. Do you know that before they know that this earth is globe, they think that this earth is flat? Why? Because they walk and do the activities, it also in the book that road are flat. After they are sailing the boat, they found out that they are back to the same place where they begin, it is prove that earth is globe.

Nowadays, young children didn’t like to read the book, so they learned to gain the knowledge by their own experiences. Whether the government are promote the reading campaign, but I think that experiences will gave the great impact in human life because they experiences and face that by their own. Some of people are learned from the experiences better than the books. When they read the information in the book, they might be forgetting what they had read, but when they face and experiences it, they may be remembering it forever.

Some naughty friend will make fun if their friends are make the false statement or give the wrong facts. So this situation will make the friend remember the fact and gained the knowledge in their entire life. Whether he/she will feel embarrassed because they make fun of them, but this will correct their fault. Some of people will memorize something’s by what they had experiences, because for them, they see it and experiences it and may be uneasy to forget.

Sometimes, book may help us to avoid some problems, but it not enough yet. Why, so suppose know all existing rules of a particular game, for example, in the football games. Knowledge from books or tips of someone’s experiences won’t help them to be a good goalkeeper, unless you play in the ground by yourself. You may be learned how to catch the ball but you can’t learn to be professional of the skill just by reading the book.

Can you imagine how if the pilot only read the book without the practice handling the flight? Pilot learn from the knowledge that gained from experiences because they only read the book and learn how to handle and flight the plane, but they only can really gained the real knowledge and the correct way to handling the plane when they are experiencing handling the plane by their self.

Medical student also need a practical when learning the procedure, they may can have a lot of information of the disease, sign and symptoms, causes and treatment but how when doing the procedure on the patients? They may have the knowledge from the book, but it is not enough and it may risk the patient’s life when they do the procedure but not with all confident. By had a experiences handling the patient, they will do the procedure with correct step and confident, it will save the patient’s life.

To sum up, I really think that knowledge gained from experience is important than knowledge gained from the book. Knowledge without practice are nothing, practice is by the experience and experience make people perfect, it also called that “practice make perfect”. Book can not correct us when we make a mistakes, but by the experience, we can learn from mistake that we had do and may be not repeated it again.

“ Not everything that is learned is contained in books”

“Not everything that is learned is contained in book”. The sentence is mean that people can gain with other way and not only from the book such as from an experience. In this rapidly-changing world, learning is very necessary to people change self to make much better. Not only from the book, an experience in life also the best teacher as a reference. Today, the library at the school and the university are completed with the variety of book items such as Sciences, Computer, Literature, Medical and others. For the student it’s very important because the book is the main source to completed their assignment and for discussion. But, as we are know today, during the study period the student must to complete the Practical Session according their course to gain the experience for the main reason. So, both of book and experience is the best way to learn, but to my opinion I more prefer to the experience because it’s more important source.
As we know, the studying today more to the Practical Session than the theories. For the example, the nursing course is stressful their student for clinical posting and have the percentage there to complete the marking system. For the student, the knowledge from the real situation are different from the book that they are had learn. For the everyday they are learn a lot of thing about nursing but without the Practical Session they are is nothing. The nurse is from medical link and for sure they are learn a lot about skills which different with other scope. The skills only successful with a practice and for the nursing course, the Clinical Practice is very important to gain the knowledge beside face the problem through the real patient. So, the experience is the most important because it is the variety condition even need to use a critical thinking but the book only the fact which can’t to change.
Every people are using the creativity to create the best thing in the life. By the experience, everything is in fingertip such as for the business person. To develop their business, they are must to learn how to maintain. Of course the best way is from the experience. The experience is not in the book but we must search from the successful or failure in to our life. For them, they are may be are successful in theory, but to facing the taught environment they must to have an experience. The book only is guidance for everything had done but not totally source for knowledge.
In other hand, experience is the knowledge which is gained from doing the things and books are the record of it. Our experience is not to recording totally but must to remember. As a human being, sometimes we are forgetting to do recording but the experience we never to forget. For the example, we can face the difficult situation either we are not study about it. When we are failed in the life, the feeling of frustrated are there and we also can give up. But from the literature, the person can learn from the unsuccessful. So, its proof that experience is the best way to learn beside the book.
Besides, the experience is the invaluable thing that we should be has. The experience can get during in relationship with friends. A lot of thing that we can share during the friendship and it’s also the experience because we can learn about the moral value such as the sincerely, honestly and responsibility to others. The book also have a list of the moral value, but it’s not to meaningful until we are facing for that. Even though, the book is very complete but the experience is influence for the person to be a good human being.
Last but not least, the best way to gain the knowledge is from the experience. The experience is the best guidance in our life. The improvement with the experience is more effective rather than book because the book only teach by word but the experience is the real thing of life.

It has been said “not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experienced with knowledge from the books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?
People are learning and developing throughout their whole lives, they have gained knowledge not only from books but also from practice and experiences. On the one hand, books hold all knowledge gained by previous generations. Basically, people inherited this holder of humankind’s experience. This source of knowledge usually cannot be changed, in particular history books that were written on real events and real people. For example, we can see asses to information about Second World War just by use of books not your experiences. In my opinion, knowledge from experience is one important than knowledge from books.
In my view, knowledge is not necessarily contained in texts or books. Learning from books is an age old source that has been validated over centuries. Gone are the days when the world was considered to comprise separate regions. But knowledge gained from experiences is individualistic and not generalist approach like those suggested in the books. Knowledge through experiences may one fall or fail. Well it is for the basic motive for us to learn to be more careful.
There is saying, the truth comes from practices and experiences. So we are confident that we learn that we learn from experiences is completely true. Moreover, there are some things we cannot learn from books. A good example, as a student nurse, skill is more important than theory, because we cannot do dressing to the patient without any practice or experiences, or we can only true friends from experience, not from books. Medical students may know many cures, and have read many papers about lots of diseases, but they have to work as internships in hospitals for couple of months to gain experiences by themselves, and after then they will be certified as real doctors.

In conclusion, both knowledge gained from books and experiences are essential to everyone. I might say that people are continually assessing the celebrity of the knowledge written in books and discovering new things by experiences.

  24. Leaning is a process that starts from birth to death. We learn lots of things from friends, teachers, and other people. We also learn from books by reading them, things that are coming up in daily life, and so forth. That said ‘Books are our best friends.’

I think just by reading books, we can’t learn enough. Books are written knowledge, and this is good, but the fact is that reading itself is good for nothing. The best example is that there are many fields in this world to study, and there are many theory, published books, and articles exist too. Theories and books give you the ideas of how things are, and most of them are assumptions and imaginary information. To get the whole ideas you need to put them in action and experience them in real.

The best examples for this kind of knowledge are pharmacy and psychology. You may know how a cure works, or you may know how to make a patient become relax. Regardless of how good you are at them, you absolutely are not able to get succeed with them, unless you try them and put them in action. Medical students may know many cures, and have read many papers about lots of diseases, but they have to work as internships in hospitals for couple of months to gain experiences by themselves, and after then they will be certified as real doctors.

On the other hand, it is clear that they are different in many ways. The first difference is in the writing that has enable man to record the past, and pass it from generation to generation. For example, if one wants to cook a special dish; what he needs is a recipe, no trial and error is needed. Some might argue that experiences can also be memorized, yet what they don't realize is that they can easily be twisted and lost. Moreover, books are an excellent guideline. Fixing cars, for instance, one cannot fix it without knowing about engine; books are where the information he needs is.

To sum up, reading books and knowing things are not enough to be perfect, but their affect are significant. That experience, whether gained from books, or gained from others’ experiments, enriched by practicing, is an excellent guided science which is the best of all, and not just a test-and-error one.

  25. In term of gain knowledge we must take source for learning. According to my opinion, knowledge gained from experiences is more effectively compare from books but this opinion is depending on some factor. In field of nursing, knowledge gained from experience is the best way to learnt.
Furthermore, experience is something that we can remember more compare to knowledge again the book. It is because we can feel in the real situation during learning process. For instant, in field of nursing, we must have skill of communication with the patient in term of gain information. Its need more practice compare to theory session.
Nevertheless, knowledge through the book need high skill of critical thinking and memorize. In this way, we must learn carefully so that we can remember it exactly. We must work hard to memorize and it can lead to the mental abuse. For example, in term of subject of history, we need to memorize the specific years and certain figure. It is very important in theory session because it doesn’t use skill of practical. Besides, experience knowledge, it more to skill and less use of critical thinking.
Nonetheless, gain knowledge through the experience is the best teacher that we have. It is because from experience we can learn from mistake and from that we can remember its better. At the same time, we will correct our mistake in term of effectively of the skill. We can conclude that practice can make us perfect.
Unfortunately, for experience knowledge, we must always update it by do more practice in term of improving our knowledge. For example, in field of nursing, practice of the procedure are very important such as in perform of dressing procedure. For maintaining of the sterility we can’t miss one of the steps so we need a lot of practice. At the same time, it’s give us time to familiar about the procedure. For the knowledge from the book we just memorize all the steps.
In spite of all my opinion, I straight accept that knowledge gained from experience more effectively in term of learning. Experience can bring huge reflection in our life compare knowledge from the book. It is because not everything that is learned is contained in the book.

It has been said, “ not everything that is learned is contained in book’’ .Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books .In your opinion ,which source is more important ?Why ?

What you understand about knowledge ?.Knowledge is the information, understanding and skills that you gain through education or experience .Knowledge is significant thing in our life and it is very useful for our future .With knowledge, people can be an educated person .We can get knowledge from a lot of source such as from book and also from our experience. But, which one is important ?.Knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. For me, knowledge gained from experience is more important than books.
We see at the nursing field .As a nurse ,a lot of procedure that we must perform at our patients .Such as perform of dressing ,removal of suture and also give an injection at the patients .As a nurse ,when we want to do an injection at the patients ,we must make sure patient feel confident with us during we give an injection .So they will give full cooperation with the nurses .But ,if hand is always shivering because lack of experience ,how we can perform the injection well. How we as a nurse must do to prevent this things from occur .Of course we must have a lot of experience .If as a nurse ,we just read at the book ,just have a knowledge from the books ,but don’t have any experience and don’t know how to perform ,it is become worst .The best solution to prevent this thing from occur when give the injection is we must have a lot of knowledge from an experience.
Did you had heard about “ Practice make perfect ”.What this word means ?.When we do a lot of practice and our experience become increase and because of that we can be perfect .For example ,we have a lot of problem in writing an essay .What the action that we must do .Just read the essay book and remember all kind of word in that book or write an essay and submit the essay to the lecturer .Even we do a lot of mistake ,never mind , atleast we can learned it and we already have an experience about it .When we do a lot of mistake and we will remember it so in other essay,we not repeat the mistake again.
Furthermore, when we have a knowledge from the book,we just read and then easy to forget.Because we don’t practice it.It is compared to the experience,we do it and easy for us to remember that things. As we know, from the experience we get a lot of lesions. But when we gained a knowledge from the book.we just have the theories, not the practical. So,we can conclude that knowledge gained from experience is more important than knowledge gained from books.

    Question 2;
It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books”.
Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experiences with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

Whatever field we are involved in, we always have to look for ways and means to expand our knowledge. Increase in knowledge in a particular subject can lead to better understanding, grasp, judgment, intelligence and ability in that area. It can expand our thinking and heighten our expertise on a topic.Learning is described as knowledge that you get from reading and studying refers in Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary 7th edition. A student started gain their knowledge by using a books while a traveller apply their knowledge based own experiences. Both type of people actually using a same method but different at the end of life. Unfortunately, people would like to judges it although it has a similarities and differences.

Books are a medium or journal for all generation to gain their knowledge based on provided information. Neither a fiction nor non-fiction, both of this type is suitable for exercises, learning, reading and others. As an example in sector of education, text book is the most important and valuable for teacher use a reference while a student use it as guidance. This is because the education system was been changed by converted the entire selected subject to be learnt in English. As a result all of student will have difficulties and solved it by buying a book act as summary.

The reason on gaining knowledge is an experience is a direct or a first hand experiences. It’s developing on emotional perception. For example sadness, joy, worried, pain, and loving. This kind of feeling will make a brain to stimulate a feedback. As a best effect the action will be better than before because of experiences. In addition experience is a great teacher, so learn from our past experiences and the experience of others. I think that is the best learning if from own self and others' past and present achievements as well as mistakes.

Other’s reason is it gives us real life situations, and makes our experience all that have learned in books. Take for example physics and scientific experiments; it is important to witness it to understand them well. Books will never be able to explain the experiences and the results better than seeing it in real life. This is because of the book are writer based on author’s experiences.

The most knowledge we gain in our young age is gained from books. We go to school and study in books all the subjects we need, languages, history, geography, and general education. Also adults get a lot of knowledge through books, because they are a very useful way for saving it, a very useful way also for forwarding it, there is a proverb that says: “real friend is a book”. Whatever problem we are facing must have been faced by somebody else before, and its solution is likely to have been preserved in the form of a book. If we are serious about gaining knowledge on a topic, then read any book, magazine, article etc. we can lay our hands on related to that topic. Read as much as we can.

Other reason is if we want to learn something new, we may have to experiment and observe a lot. It would need to explore in deep, try out new things to see what works and what does not. Observe not just our own efforts, but also of others.

To sum up, I would like to said that we must always try our best to gain as much knowledge as possible from experience through facing real life situations and meeting real people and communicate with them, know their different ways of thinking, learn from other people’s opinions and cultures, and also not to forget the help of theoretical knowledge of books, because they also will never be replaced.

  28. Do you know what does knowledge means? According to the dictionary, knowledge means that anything one can learn from. Generally, there exist adequate sources can people get knowledge, such as teachers, parents, library and internet. They can be divided into two categories books and experience. Some argue that the knowledge gained from books is more important than that gained from experience, while others hold the totally different perspective. As far as I am concerned, I absolutely accede to the second opinion. Experience is good teacher. You will learn more from things that happen to you in real life than you will from hearing about or studying things that happen to other people.
In similarity, either by reading or experiencing, both of it giving us knowledge .By the way, gaining knowledge through experience is by doing something. Such as when we first time make a cup of coffee, we will wary how many spoon of sugar should mix with coffee. Firstly we will refer to the recipe book. Sometimes it is not accurate, so we will taste the coffee by ourselves and adjust the amount of sugar by our experienced. Then, day by day we will improve the taste and make delicious coffee. Same as human, sometimes they will make a mistake in their life. So by experienced they will make improve their mistake and will not repeat the same mistake.
However, knowledge gained from books cannot be compared with that gained from experience. Both books and experiences provide us with knowledge, but the ways we approach the knowledge are different and what we get are different, too.

In contrast, we can’t experience everything in the world. There are lots of things that we learn through our life and we can’t learn them all by experiencing. Nevertheless, if we find particular books that include the information we are looking for, it will help us understand better. For instance, how could possibly we learn about forefathers without books? How could we also learn about the history of our countries? Obviously, it is impossible to learn these things by experiences. So, it has pro and contra.
In another reason, gaining knowledge from books can save us a lot of time and energy. Let’s say that students talk or learn about the theories in class. Actually, it is not necessary for students to test every theory in one’s own experiences. It is not necessary to get involved in explaining every phenomenon we meet by our own experiences. If we just look into the books, we can learn lots of details and explanations more rationally and understandably.
Now to bring to a close, gaining knowledge from book is also very important in our life. There is a proverb ‘to see is to believe’. This emphasizes the importance of book resources. Despite that, due to the previous reasons, I would say gained knowledge by experienced are more important than gained knowledge by book.

  29. Experience plays a more important role than knowledge in one’s success. Consider this when someone becomes successful, it is experience rather than knowledge that are admire.Knowledge could be learnt from books, but experience could not. A book written by a person can only reflect a few aspects of one’s mind. That is called knowledge. However, if learn from the person directly rather than through the book are wrote, it can obtain a big feast of mind. This is called experience. So it can believe that experience is more important than knowledge.
Truth comes from experience and practice. Let’s think about how the knowledge comes into the world. When someone meets or does something. Unusual, has some unique feelings and consideration. This is called experience. Then draws some conclusions from his experience and writes them down. Now the knowledge is born. Therefore, experience is the mother of knowledge. Without it, knowledge could not exist in the world. Therefore, experience is more important than knowledge.
Experience is the only way to prove whether the knowledge is true or false. Textbooks are very wonderful in teaching people essential principles, common sense, basic laws in the world. We can learn a lot through nursery, primary school, middle school and university. But people can only understand the real meaning of knowledge in the books and judge them if they are right. For instance, a few hundred years ago, people learnt from books that the earth was flat. However, astronomers found it wrong through their experience of observations and measurement. Thus, we think that experience is more important than knowledge.
We live in a world with real people rather than knowledge or dead papers. As we all know, the knowledge in books are too limited and inflexible to cope with all the things in society and nature. A learned person without experience could not live in the modern society because of lacks the ability of applying knowledge to the task is assigned to. While an experienced person without knowledge can live on his own, even may becomes a millionare. Many scientists did not have access to school to learn knowledge in the history.Whereas, a lots of inventions were invented by their experience of trial and error, such as Edison who invented the bulb-light. Only trust in the knowledge written by predecessors and ancestors, we would still live in the world with candles.

  30. It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In my opinion, I do agree with that statement. Referring to the Oxford Advance Learner’s Dictionary, learn can be determined by to gain the knowledge or skill by studying, from experience or from being taught. Did you hear about experience is the best teachers?
Experience is the knowledge or skill that you have gained through doing something for a period time or the process of gaining the learning process. There are many sources to start the learning process. For example in teacher’s profession, the criteria needs the teacher to be knowledgeable depends on the books. It is because they need to have a general knowledge and specific knowledge according to the subject that they will teach to their students. Students will ask anything regarding what they have learnt regarding the social issue or general knowledge. Compared to the nursing profession, what we need to have as a requirement in nursing is based on the clinical experience that we have. We also need the book to be referred, but the practical are most important that will build the valuable experience in our life.
We can say that experience is like a mother to teach us. The best way to have a lesson by learns from mistake. In this situation, the best learner is the people who are realize their mistake in wherever situation they had. Other than that, experience will teach us to be more skilful and can improve our life in better lifestyle. If we checked at the vacancy form, the employer is asking about our qualification and do we have any previous experience? Based on the experience, we will learn to be smart and work hard to build a career in our life.
Nowadays, many of the graduate students have the flying colours in their result but not successful in their practical part. “Practice make perfect” is the key to be successful in our life. Knowledge from the books is also important but as a student we need to apply the knowledge as an application. Before we do a practical, we are learned the basic of learning from the book as a reference. In the other word, both of the sources are important in our learning. But, impacts of the experience are most precious compared to the booked. We can not experience from any shops or from our money because experience is too precious to buy. In the positive aspect, experiences teach us to be more sensitive upon the surrounding.
To sum up, knowledge gained from the experience is the best teacher in this world compared to the booked. People are learning from mistake and always take an experience as something is most valuable in their life. We can buy the books from the shop but not the experience. Every experience that we have, we must keep as the best memory in rest of the life.

  31. No boundaries existed in obtaining knowledge. There are endless possibilities for everyone to gain knowledge. Knowledge is a very wide subject. Books are the one important source in learning process. However, knowledge is also gained from experience that is one of the sources in learning. It is depend on the field that we involved.
“Not everything that is learned is contained in book”. In the field of nursing, not all the knowledge is gained from the books. This because nurses are not totally depends on the book. The usually practice their skill according to patient’s conditions. They have to be creative in critical thinking in nurse their patient. They also gained their knowledge through experience that happened before. They learned from themselves to make the skill is getting improve continuously. “Practice makes perfect”. For example, without experience, they are very afraid to practice their skill. From the experience they tried to improve themselves.
Knowledge gained from experience. This statement is suitable for past generation such as our grandmother and grandfather. They gained the knowledge from the past generation. They usually got experience from the eldest stories especially knowledge regarding the life. For example, past generation was told the next generation about their experience such as how to cook. They did not have any book as their reference. They only have their own recipe and let the next generation know about their experience.
Sometimes people start to get bored to read the book especially the thick book with thousand pages. So, they take the way to gain their knowledge with experience. From the experience, they will learn for example they learn from the mistake that they done past and prevent to do the better than before in order to improve their knowledge and skills.
This is different in the teaching profession. They learnt about the fact. The knowledge is gained from the sources such as books, journals or others reading materials. As a teacher, they also have to deliver a fact in teaching. They have to know the references and sources about their module of teaching. For teachers, experience is come together during their service in teaching.
As a conclusion, knowledge is important in our life. We have to gain our knowledge continuously either the knowledge takes from the books or experiences. Both are important in order to improve ourselves. From the knowledge, we know the standard of education for the people.

  32. QUESTION 2
Not everything that is learned is contained in books. Experience gained a person had more knowledge from the book. Experience can make a person more mature and complete our life is better. People always are learning with our experience and practice from through whole life. From the book also a person can get information and ideas to elaborate more for further. Not all the carrier used the book as a best to refer. But sometimes need apply by the practices. In my opinion the experience is more important from the book’s sources.
Experience the most important to gained knowledge, people are continually discovering new things and assessing the creditability of the knowledge written in books. The knowledge from experience helps us much more than those from books. For example we can see carrier of nurses need to get experience to gained more knowledge.
The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning. This process in which you try to get curtain knowledge for predetermined purposes. For the nurses need apply to all the information in theory part. From that theory they have more experience such as apply the injection to the real patient. Book’s just learning to get information and for experience can do in real situation. We can studies and improve our skill in theory part. That why for nurses the best way in learning can get from our experiences.
Experience the most important to gained knowledge from the book. This is because from experience make a more knowledge for the example in chef carrier. For this carrier need to apply the knowledge to make them can approve their skill faster and delicious. Knowledge from books and knowledge from experience have the same source, which is the real life. In life is an endless source of knowledge that needs to be explored, inspiring people and making them learn non-stop.
As a conclusion, the best way to take a more knowledge is came’s from experience. Knowledge from experience and knowledge from books have a relationship and they support each other. Actually, books are attached to experienced, they cannot be created or even thought of without experience, just because they are products of experience and the motivation that forces people to preserve knowledge for future use.

  33. People are learning and developing throughout their whole lives, they have gained knowledge not only from books but also from practice and experience. In my opinion, both basic knowledge from books and new discovery from experience are important. Following reasons could explain why.
Not everything’s that we learned is containing in books. Books are important source of information and knowledge, but it’s not the only source. By reading book related to sport, politics, movies a person can enhance his knowledge from around the globe. Academic reading which give great knowledge regarding different subject cannot be obtained from experience itself. This knowledge determine someone to be successful in school, college and later in the job.
Books hold the previous knowledge of previous generations. This source of knowledge usually cannot be change. Example history book, which is told about the real people and the real events. We can find the information about history of Malacca, when the Portuguese attack them by just using the book because we cannot experience it. Moreover before make new discoveries in certain science, people have to refer to the previous achievements.
On the other hand, the experience can give us, more useful knowledge. It’s like the truth come from the experience. In fact, I think making mistakes is the best way to learn. If we want to innovate or change something we have to experience it. Innovations do not come through reading but through experimentation. If one can apply the skills gained through the study of the books it will be a meaningful experience.
The knowledge from the experience also helps us as much as the books. Like the old time people thinks the earth is flat, but after they exploring the earth they know that they are living on the global planet. There are lot inventions which could not be found from book.
In conclusions, both the sources of the knowledge have their own importance. We need them both in order to become professionals and to learn lessons that we may use throughout our lives. We cannot depend on just one knowledge, because in life we need both of them. But, the thing that need to be highlighted is experience is the best “tutor”.

  34. Experience is the best way to gained knowledge. Experience is something that we have through before experience in our life. We can be a better person through experiences in life. Experiences can make we became better person in life, when we have through many tough experience in life so we can be tougher person in life and never give up to through journey of life.

Practice make perfect, from practicing we can gain more knowledge and do not repeat the same mistake. When we hardworking we can get better outcome, for example as a staff nurse their learned contained a skill the staff nurse must try t practice the procedure starting from student nurse and continue when became a registered nurse to practice the skill during perform procedure to became a pro or master without feel of nervous when perform the procedure. Without the practicing the staff nurse will no can adapt the nerves and prone to make a mistake. This is why clinical posting is important for student nurse to practice in the real situation.

Furthermore, to become a best pilot who can handling the plane their must trained they self and get experience from handling the trial plane which can feel the real situation, the effect and reflect of the plane but this is not the real plane and without passenger this because untalented pilot without a full experience cannot allowed to handle the plane by self. If the pilot only learn base on the book and do not practice handle the plane the pilot can be a danger their self and also may killed the passenger.

To be a better person who want to achieve the goal of life we must learn from the mistake that we have done before. So we can reflect back our mistake and make a importance to get a higher achievement in life. Everyone must have done mistake in life and when we learn from mistake so we can get immune from our life to improve and do not repeat the same mistake, we also must do not give up in our life.

Furthermore, when go for interview for job. Most of the company only wants to hire person who have more experience in the job compared by the fresh graduate person. Salary between people who have experience in work is more expensive compared to fresh graduate. Even though in this global world has many intelligent and educated person is very important but the experience is more important to person get the occupation.
To sum up, experience is the best way to gain knowledge; through experience can make person became more expert in skill and get a better achievement in life, of course learn from experience need hard work and we must never give-up.the best benefit to our life and get a best result in life in we must learn start the first day of life until the last day of life

'' Not everything that is learned is contained in books '' . It is compare and contrast from experience with knowledge gained from books . My opinion , both of the source are important because without books , we not get the experience . I think our experiences have the more contribution to our knowledge . The reason that support my point of view are as follow .
To begin with , what we learn from our experience is always important . Besides that , the experience also can make practise’s the good performance . Example , before I go the clinical posting , I need to learn the theory through the book so from the book can make the experience . From the book , we can apply in the clinical posting . So , from the book we can get many experience . The experience also made the many skill and can make the challenging in the life .
Next , from the book , we can learn more and add knowledge or get more idea to apply anywhere . The book , we just read and make a short notes . Besides that , the experience get from the work or practical . We can get add knowledge in this experiences . So , we can learn more and can get experience when we apply in anywhere .
Then , as a students , we more experiences compared the books . It is because , the books are very bored causes always reading until understands different with experience . The experience more practise’s and faster than to understand . So we can achieve the goal if through experience. It is can the real situation compared the books just imaging only so difficult to we understand what we learn through the books . Although experience still through the book always . The book very details information to we research and understand . Sometimes the book more variety type of book . The books different others book .
So the experience can follow the step by step the way to practise's . More we practices , more we get the experiences . Usually , the students more comfortable with the experiences . From this , the experiences and book are very important . However , on the other hand , there are certain things that we cannot do practically and in such instances , books are the only source of our knowledge .
As a conclusion , given the above facts , the knowledge from book is important but what we learn from our experiences is more important . Then , knowledge from our experiences help us to learn in a better .

  36. QUESTION 2

As we know,we all need learn about learning process in our life. Learning process are good especially to all students. I think the statement “ Not everything that is learned is contained in books” is true. For me,experience are more important sources for everyone. Other than that, there are certain great when we learn from books especially for student.

Experience can make everyone have a better visualization. For example,as a student nurse I get more experience during my clinical practical. Then,I get more visualization when I do some procedure with many other culture of patients. Beside that, experience can make everyone know their knowledge regarding the learning process.

Furthermore, from experience we can reflect our past mistake. For example,if before this we do some mistake for any other thing,we can renew and do the best for the next time. According that mistakes,it make me to learn carefully and it good in learning process. Otherwise,we can make a good effort from our mistakes.

Consequently,we must learn more about the knowledge either in books or other sources. For me,as a student nurse the best source is from books. It is because we learn about the subtopic that involved inside the nursing handbook. Then, after we read some books for references we can get more knowledge and automatically will gained your knowledge. Beside that, from the references book we can apply the experience in our life.

Therefore,if someone want apply the work to other agency either in government or private, the characteristic that the employer need for their employee is they must have some experience with other company or have some ability that they have to get the jobs. Other than hat, experience is a basic learning process to build up more confident with this scenario.

In a nutshell, either knowledge or experience are quiet important for our life. Then as a student nurse, knowledge is good resources for me to learn more about the something new. Thus, experience also essential when we work as a staff registered nurse and then we can apply the good experience for the future.

  37. QUESTION 2
When we talk about the experience, normally all of us in this world have many experience either it is wonderful experience or disaster experience. Unfortunately, all of us have different experience. Whatever the experience, it gives us many impact from that. Experience also teach us to facing of any life challenges and make us to correct our mistake that we have done.
The differentiation from getting the knowledge in books are totally different from getting it from an experience. For teacher, they will get the information from the book to teach their students.
But it is different for nurses, doctor or electrician. All of them need experience to ensure they will do the work better from day by day.
Experience also help us to detect our ability by doing something. For that, as the nurses, we still learn in theory but the practical is the important thing that we must alert about that. During be the student nurses, we have learn about injection, before we go to clinical posting, we must practicing that in the skill lab. Even that procedure it same, but it is give the differentiation between practice in the skill lab than during clinical posting. For me,during the clinical posting I will get the experience to administer an injection to the real patient. During the first time normally we will not confident to do so. But it give good experience for me to share with my course mate.
It is also can reflect back for us, to renovate our mistake, an example, someone who is fail in their first exam. Maybe for that time they do not know how to answer this and that question. But after they look back for the mistake, may be they can find the solution how to settle that problem. During solving the calculation for additional mathematics in the monthly test, the student always fail, he only get five over hundred percent of mark. Then, he feel that he must take that as an effort to improve his weakness and make that as the experience for him to score good mark in the future exam especially for SPM examination.
Besides that, from our experience, we can guide anyone that need our help. In the universities or college have many students whether they are senior or junior. Junior act as new student at the universities or college. So that, they are the person that needs help and guidance from the old student who is called senior. As the senior itself, they also need many experience to share with the junior student. So that we must help them wisely to prevent any errors like we have done it before.
As a conclusion, if the person does not have any experience during their whole life. They will not know how the feeling for being success or failure. So that, if we still alive, get the life experience as much as possible.

  38. Topic: It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

In our modern world today education or learning is the most important and it is a compulsory need now. Some attend to colleges and universities to further their knowledge broadly, some do involve in training bases activities pertaining to their interest and some gain their knowledge by reading books. In my opinion I think it is the best way to gain more experience is by experience.

Firstly I believe that the knowledge that we learned from experience which lasts long and its valuable. There is also are saying which says that “ Experience is the best teacher ” .without knowledge we can survive in certain fields for example nursing .But without experience and only with theoretical knowledge, nothing is possible to be done for a particular individual in any field. So, I prefer experience is best. Another reason for me to feel that the knowledge through experience ranks high than the knowledge using book is that, a person who is best in theoretical knowledge can only be able to succeed in written exams and not in manual work.

The second difference is that books are not everything. There is no denying that books are the best source of knowledge. Unfortunately, no book can teach you how to swim unless you actually do it; you cannot bake a cake just by just looking at a recipe book; and none of the scientists won the Noble prizes just from reading textbooks .Experience is needed. In addtition ,the hands which experienced will allow you to develop skills neccessary to survive in the real world. Books may tell you about common problems but the skills can be developed only if you have experienced it yourself. Learn from experience.

In conclusion, one can learn so much either by reading or experiencing. Books contain all sorts of information, while, experience are also an important source of knowledge. Which is more important? The answer is both. As a popular saying has been said that “practice makes perfect.” In order to get the best way of learning, we not only need full information but also have to put it into practice; Lastly, as another saying goes “it is as well to know which ways the wind blows,” before experiencing something one should know enough about it.

  39. “Not everything that is learned is contained in books”. This statement is highlights we can gain information only from the books as a theories. But usually the practise and the skills we can gain from the experience. The experience is making a person more professional and smart in their fields and also in their life. We always hear the people are usually say ‘don’t judge the book by it’s cover ’ . It is also shows the person who got theory there cannot be professional in their skill because there don’t have experience.
First , books are give a lot of general knowledge regarding the subjects or fields. It is give us a basic information about the carrier and help us to understand the real phenomenon . An example, the nursing book is help us to know what types of equipment we use for doing different procedures. If we want to give a treatment for patient disease, we can search the type of treatment are given to different disease .It is shows the basic knowledge we can get from books without practise.
We always heard that practice make perfects from the people .Its true because practice help the people to solve their problems. An example , now days a lot of university graduates are difficult to get work opportunities . Why it will happen even though there have a degree or diploma certificates? The accurate answer for this question is there not enough the experience for doing the job. Thus why employees scared to take the fresh graduates for job. Other than experience workers always be creative and finish it faster. It give profit to the employees.
The experience not only gains from occupation and it will get from our daily life. For students there are live in colourfully life as a butterfly. There don’t bother the people were suffer from poverty and cannot do their daily activities properly .If there will read in the books also it can only touch their feelings but there still don’t know the meaning of suffer in their life . Thus why, the government do the national service activity among the students who were finish form five .It is teach suffering of the life and also teach them how manage their selves when didn’t get food and drink in jungle. So this experience make them become a brave person in their life.
As a conclusion, experience is gave a lot of knowledge compared to book. Reading books and knowing things are not enough to be perfect, but their affect are significant. But the experience is make us a creative and available person in the life.

  40. Question 2: it has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?
    Answer:
Book and experience is a most important to gain knowledge. For the young children must read more books. It can treat how to give the best thing to the child. The only thing I can say to a non-reader is to start reading because in your future it will help you out. The era in today’s world is facing an overload in technology that only a small minority is able to keep up with the important ability of reading.
I think reading is important because if you read it gives you knowledge of many different things. I think that reading is fun because you read different kinds of things that can help you in your future. Reading gives you knowledge of all things because in the schoolbooks you can find everything you used to learn how to read and write. Most of people with the lowest literacy skills live in poverty because they do not have the sufficient money to pay their schools.
Reading is the most important asset a child will ever have because when that child matures and becomes an adolescent or an adult that individual will be presented with various tasks that involves reading. High schools today are filled with a more chalk full academic curriculum revolving around reading in order to keep up with the state’s goal in performing above the minimum requirements it holds for the school to meet on state wide exams, to provide sufficient funding.
Learnt from experience will became expert for everything. The experience for our self can make some people to be matured for our live. Education also not only comes from the books and school teachers, but most importantly you gain knowledge and experience by socializing in life. I consider education to be the set of knowledge and skills required to survive in life. I think most people would not be able to have one without education. Education plays a critical and most important role in our lives. We must dedicate most of our time to education in order to have a stable and a better future. So, we must practice what we learnt from book to get more experience.
I think the both of learnt from book and learnt from experience is together important. This is because from book and knowledge people can gain much more knowledge. It can teach people from early and give detail example from there.

  41. Question 2.

To gain knowledge, we can learn from books or learn from our own experiences. Both of this source have its own advantage. However, in my opinion, obtaining knowledge through my practices is better because it makes me remember knowledge better and I also can use my knowledge to apply in my jobs and also in my personal life.
Furthermore, an efficient way of accumulating knowledge is learning by reading books. It is because books open an unlimited bound of knowledge for all of us to discovery. If you want to know about history of your own country, book can gives very clear explanations.
Secondly, books save us a lot of time and money to obtain knowledge. For example, you wonder how robot is. Easily, with encyclopaedia book about robot for one or two hours, you can not only know about the history but also see all the information from top to bottom.

Different than that, theories in books can apply in reality, the result may be not as we expect, but it can gives us descriptions for the real things and if the things are no longer exist, we still can understand it without any problems. Additionally, learning from books is the interesting way to gain knowledge. Certainly, it also makes you feel more interesting.

For myself, I prefer to learning from books to gain knowledge. Because it make me remember the knowledge better and I can use them to apply in my job more efficient. In university, my field is animal science and veterinarian, so I have to learn about many diseases in animal with many symptoms and treatment. It’s very easy for me to learn all of them by heart from textbooks. Therefore, study hours in library always help me to remember them.

Knowledge is unlimited, so you can learn it from many different sources, books or experience. However, with all my reason above, I have to say that accumulating knowledge from books is better for me. Without knowledge it is very difficult for us to survive in this world. Other important thing is, we are nobody if without knowledge to ensure for better life and future.

  42. Experience is the best teacher. It clearly show to us that gained knowledge from experience is more important and effective than gained knowledge from books. Knowledge is very important in our life. We will start learning from the first day of our life until the end. As an experienced and knowledgeable person, it will different us from anybody else. We can changed and improve our quality of life if we are knowledgeable person.
Nowadays, many occupation sector more concern about application and skills such as in the field of nursing. Passing exam with the flying colour is nonsense if our skill is zero and unable to apply our knowledge in application method. Nurses who already work for several years will be able to facing many conditions of patients comparing with new qualified nurses that still learning.
Learn from mistake is the best way of learning. How can we indentify our weakness and mistake if we just reading the notes from books without try to doing it. Even we able to explain the whole procedure perfectly, it not ensure that we able to carried out the procedure as perfect as we explain it. By practising it, we will be able to reflect our mistake and weakness and able to improve our skill. So, we will not repeat the same mistake.
As we are facing with the real situation, our brain will stimulate faster and we will remember it better than reading books. It was the very helpful method in learning. We will think about the process, see it with both of our eyes and try to do it rather than just wondering in front of book about how it was happen.
Besides that, content in the book is limited and not up dated. If we already got experience about it, we can modified and make it better. As an example, even we follow recipe from books, we still need to use our common sense in order to make the cuisine more delicious. It same as we are facing with people in our life. Not all persons have same character. If we got experience socialize with many type of person, it will easy for us to handle the relationship among each other.
As a conclusion, experience is more important to getting knowledge rather than gained knowledge from books. It was proven to us that our countries more concern about experience by expose us to the practising rather than theory only. As the new generation, we need to realize it and ensure that we gain as much experience as we can in our life.

  43. Question 2
It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in book”. Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

From my opinion I choose that the important knowledge gained is from experience, because no experience we cannot learnt more and apply. We can use a book as a reference but no experience we cannot apply the knowledge that we get. Books can give a many kind of, fact that we don’t know but cannot share about the experience. Admittedly, both sources of the knowledge have a advantages.
From book they only contain knowledge which is quit imaginative to know the application of read knowledge we need to go apply it practically. For example in become a teacher, they must use a book as a reference to apply when they teach, maybe they have a lot of theory and information that they can get regarding the books, but in the experience they cannot performs better as a teacher.
Beside that, we can see in the our perspective that if we not have enough experience and knowledge, all people cannot take the person for apply job that they need. For example if the person research for vacancy they must be ready by mental preparation, so that the person can look and assess about the experience that they have and can apply if they need. They can ask about the theory that you learnt but at the same time they look on your experience its important to get a job.
On the other hand, there are certain things that we cannot do practically and in such instances, books are the only source of our knowledge. If we take Mathematics, for example, we can learn formulas, and basic calculations from books only. There is no other way that we can gain this knowledge from. Therefore, books are the important mode of knowledge in this.

Finally, for the example of medical student they have all theory papers to read but they are don’t know how to treat the patient. For that they need to go practical to get experience, only reading is not enough for through knowledge but its application is very important. Knowledge gained by book and by experience goes in hand.
As conclusion, gaining knowledge from our experiences is very important. There is a common to know the experience. Despite that, due to the inability to experience everything we would want to learn, the lack of detail in our own experiences and the fact we don’t have all the time in the world, books can definitely enhance our learning so much more than by experience.

  44. It has been said , “Not everything that is learned is contained in book”. Compare, and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained knowledge from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

Knowledge is like a lamp which is they are responsible to give a service and function to lighten the uses as well in a dark situation, without lamp human in the world will stir in darkness. Knowledge is very important for everyone because without knowledge we cannot achieve the easiness in our life as to improve quality of life, and other people ease to take advantage with own self.

Nowadays, knowledge with skill is very important for request any job, because if we just only good in theories only without having any experiences regarding their course
it not meaningful and it can make them in trouble during work later because their don’t have experience to solve the problem and trying to learn face with the way work is going.
Other than that, with knowledge other people more respected to us and afraid to cheat us that because the knowledge that we have.

For my opinion, experience is one source which a very important that we must gained, because from that we can learn much better than knowledge that we just got it from the book only without through it as really. From experience as usually we can directly detected our weakness and as immediately we will improve it, in order that we are not repeated the delinquency against.

Beside that, comparing with knowledge that we gained from the book for me it also important, but it become important as references only but not to gained knowledge as completely and fully through the book. If everyone in the world are always assume the book is one source for them to gained knowledge as fully compare with gained knowledge from the experience that means, all of them outside that are not have criteria to became a knowledgeable people because their don’t have any skill in their course and quality of working if their will accepted to working in other company.

In conclusion, knowledge is one important thing that we must continuous to catch it as much as we can, and too depending with the book as fully because if too depend on it without have experience toward it not meaningful and unused because knowledge that we learn and got from experience is most demanding for requested any job and other people will appreciate it.

  45. ASSIGNMENT 2 : 3 AUGUST 2010 (TUESDAY)
It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?
Learning is the activity that all of us have to do during our life. We have been learning since the moment we are born to the moment we die, this is the only way for us to survive and live normally in this world. Many people attend schools to gain knowledge, whereas others gain their knowledge from their experience in life, both ways provide us with much valuable knowledge. However, in my opinion, I think that experience is the more important source of knowledge.
A philosopher from India said that: “There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.” For example, baby when given birth, they start to learn to cry to get milk and protection. Later, they learn how to crawl, walk and run. After several year learning basic survival skills, they will use it as an essential part in their life ever after.

Not everything that is learned is contained in books. A book can give us the knowledge but not the real understanding of life. Passing examination with flying result and having qualifications not a warranty for us to able encounter the difficulty in real life easily. Qualifications are the only record of what we have learned and the requirement for further study in higher education. The theories not cover all. We need to apply knowledge that we have in real job and daily life and from that, we are learning.

Similarly, knowledge from books and knowledge from experience have the same source, which is the real life. While experience is what people get from the world around them, books are records of it. People around the world have travelled many places around the world and then they record in the books what they have seen such as about the culture, geographic and lifestyle. Later, the new generation can use this information to understand and learn about the other culture and people. For example, by reading books, readers know about many places that they have never been to; an Asian person can see the Eiffel Tower and know its details through photographs and information in books; a student can know about theories that were set up by ancient scientists, who lived thousands years before them.

To sum up this topic, the knowledge gained from books cannot be compared with that gained from experience. This is because books provide us with many theories and conception, but not application and practical. People say that ‘Practice Make Perfect’. In order to master the knowledge that we have learn, we need to practice it for many times until we really good in those things.

  47. QUESTION 2
Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with gained knowledge from books.

Learning process starts from birth until death. To gain knowledge has two ways of learning that are theory and practically. This most the significant ways of study that use of critical thinking and brains storming. As we all know, this learning have compared and contrast that each other to utilize the benefit and weakened one side of learning’s. Both of the ways in learning are support each other and put them in action and experience them into the reality.
However we must identify the field of profession that we have such as medical line and teaching line use of different of learning. Most common in the medical line need more on experience in practically but in teaching site a lot of using more on the theory part. This is because teaching line most often to use the formula, fact or act that cannot to change due to right judgments and for the truth. Also with the medical line they must efficiently in performing the procedure on the patient with confidently. This make them need more practicing then for the theory.
Despite of the gained the knowledge by book sources most significant as excellent in the contains of the books can follow and understood by others reader. The books also can be easily to get form books store and library that have provided to all of the users. No limitations in searching knowledge by the books because it depends on the personal effort to get the knowledge. The knowledge also can get from the teachers, parents even strange people when discussing with the topic in the books directly.
Nevertheless knowledge from the experience more excited when need to use critical thinking and memorized it. This make them need practice and thinking much, such effort creates real knowledge than you can gain it actively. It’s become naturally remember of the important part because the application on the skill learning’s. Master the skill come by frequently practicing and skillful after they get polish under the supervision by expertise. Therefore they must have the knowledge of theory part before apply in practically.
To sum up this topic, both knowledge are every important that’s connected each other. To be a good person must have critical thinking and with relevant rational. This learning process to gained knowledge always continuously until we died. So beneficial that we have to both way of learning will make we mature and knowledgeable.

  48. It has been said, ‘’Not everything that is learned is contained in books.’’ Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

Learning process started from childhood. Knowledge can be determined by learning from the book and by the experience of life. Both are important to gain our knowledge but for me the most important is by the experience. By experience, we can achieve the knowledge and skill that we had gained through doing the period of time. Once we had the experience, the knowledge also can add. It’s mean by; we get both of it experience and knowledge.
As we know, Malaysia has new generation with intelligent people. It’s very common in our country. We much balance the situation. We must look up ward. Not all people love to study. They also must have a good experience to continue job. Sometimes, the occupation that we want to apply, it’s only base on our own experience. For example a carrier of nurses, it’s also added to have a good experience. To apply in the government sector, the experience must not less than 10 years.
Base on their experience, people usually can take it simple and can use their experience to improve their capability. For example the worked of the factory can do their work very fast because of the higher of the experience regard to their work. Besides that, they also can have a great idea to build up a new product in future. By create a new product; the workers can get a good name who had inventor of that product.
Base on the experience, people usually had respect to other person. By gain more knowledge, we can learn how to improve our self to have a good character. This of the following, sometime the management will know who well in their job. So, the management will increase their worker a best salary. By improve our self; this may encourage people to increase their experience to achieve their target.
As a conclusion, experiences are most important in learning session. Books are also important, but if we directly focus or just simply follow the book, we cannot get enough knowledge by regard to the experience. By encourage the people read and gain the experience; it’s can make the person perfect and can do each of the job without have any mistake.

  49. Knowledge Gained From Books Or Knowledge Gained From Experiences

I agree that not everything that we learned contained in books. Leaning is a process that starts from birth to death. We learn lots of things from friends, teachers, and other people. We also learn from books by reading them, things that are coming up in daily life, and so forth. Between knowledge gained from books with knowledge gained from experiences, in my opinion I think knowledge gained from experiences is more important. There are many reason that I said experiences is more important in gained knowledge.

First of all is because through experiences we know the deep understanding of life. Learning is the activity that all of us have to do during our life. By neither passing an examination nor finishing with education can make you be ready to encounter difficulties of the real life. Qualifications are record of what you have learned, but they are not relevant to what you need to know to live normally in this world. Remembering theories is not all, you need to look for ways to apply it to your real job and your everyday life, that is when you are learning.

Second is because books cannot give us opportunities to practice those things in it. People say that “Practice makes perfect”, indeed, only by practicing can you deeply understand what are mentioned in books, we can see what we read with our own eyes, this can excite us and make us more engaged in the knowledge that we have read. Both books and experiences provide us with knowledge, but the ways we approach the knowledge are different and what we get are different, too. For example, in the football game the knowledge from books or tips of someone’s experiences won’t help you to become a good goalkeeper, unless you play in the ground.

Third is experience cannot be bought we need to think about it, practice and produce it our self. If experience is seen as a purchasable item, then the money used to buy it is not made from paper or zinc, but time and effort. For example, a baby when given birth learns to cry to find shelter and milk. After that, they learn how to crawl, walk, and run. Several years later of learning basic surviving skills, they enter the world of wider and deeper knowledge, and use it as an essential part of their life ever after.

In conclusion, many people attend schools to gain knowledge, whereas others gain their knowledge from their experience in life, both ways provide us with much valuable knowledge. However, experience is the more important source of knowledge. Theories and books give you the ideas of how things are, and most of them are assumptions and imaginary information. To get the whole ideas you need to put them in action and experience them in real. As a student nurse, I may know how a cure works or how to make a patient become relax. Regardless of how good we are at them, we absolutely are not able to get succeed with them, unless we try them and put them in action. They have to work in hospitals for couple of months to gain experiences by themselves.

  50. Experience is a teacher which teaching us about life in naturally. It cannot been bought using money and it also may not be changed to an amount of money. It is very worthy and valuable for whom who got a target in their life. This kind of person usually realizes that “Not everything that is learned is contained in book”.

There are many differential and contrast between gaining knowledge from a book and gaining knowledge from experiences. Either own experiences or it comes from others. It is usually depends on what we are doing about. If we are in a course that need a strict knowledge from books such as to be a teacher which most probably holding on facts as their basic, it is really need to depends as the one and only sources of knowledge.

Same goes to a lawyer. Lawyers also gain their knowledge from books and all about the acts. Whatever they are doing, they still have to refer back to their books and law acts. In this kind of profession, experiences only can help to built in self confident in that person to conduct their cases.

Besides that, most of the works and jobs in our daily living are probably depends on experiences. It may not only in professional sectors, it was in generalized. Some of the knowledge might not be found in any books. As an example, for elderly people who do not know to read even a single letter, they still able to manage their life and their family also. They can work and communicate to each other properly. At last, they can prove to us that their experiences are more valuable and that experience is the one which taught them to manage their life. That experiences also used to advice the new generation as guidance to be a good person.

I took doctors as example for professional course. Even though these doctors are trained and learned to perform a surgery but they still need a real situation as practice experience. When they got their opportunity to do so, then the learning session became more meaningful because they can feel it truly and deeply. Some of the theories that they had learnt will not be used anymore. Some of the doctors also will create their own style or formula to easier themselves after facing many real experiences in the hospital. They will choose the way that they feel comfortable and safe to be used or applied to the patient.

Beside that, to be a mechanics also need knowledge that comes from experiences. Even though some of the nowadays mechanics are educated enough, but majority of them are not. Usually it starts from interested to it and influenced that person to get to know about it. When they understand by their heart about the flow of the engine and how does it functioning, they manage to detect any abnormalities and able to correct it.

As conclusion, experiences are more important in gaining the knowledge compared to the books because not everything that is learned is contained in a book we have to think out of the box according to the current situations.

  51. It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in book.” The experience is the good teacher for us. Both of these sources are important. Without the theory part we cannot precede the experiences part for some specify field. Both of the sources are depending in each others. But in life, we need the experiences more to lead us to the reality. Thus, I think that experience is the most important.
People not write without having a research and experiences. That how people produced a book. But the experience gives a broad knowledge that cannot be explained by us. It is a worth knowledge when we felt and facing the knowledge by own. When practical session is come over, we try to connect it with the life. For example, a doctor is learning the medical knowledge. If he not faced the real situation of cases or a disease, he won’t get any outcome and conclusion for the disease. After facing the situation, done the investigation, do some experiments. He then knows the causes, treatment and care to the patient. If he kept referring to the book, of cause the person will die first before get the treatment. That show how experiences play a big role in the life. We do not felt anything until it happens to us. When we felt it by own, we then learned it and might be shared with others.
Book gives us knowledge via an imagination. It helps us generate our brain to think. From that knowledge, we eager to do experiments by apply it to our life. The application phrase is the medium to have the experiences. If we success to apply it, the message is delivered success to our brain. Application is a good journey of the input before converted to the experiences. From the application and experiences we now our knowledge level. The experience is a good for us to use as a land mark to avoid the same mistakes recurrent. This phrase will help us to step more higher. By think all the experiences, we will be more matured. Every action that we take based on the past experience is the branch mark for a better outcome. The result will show the knowledge that you have.
As the summary, having knowledge from book actually is not enough for people. We have to learn from our own experiences. The book also is written based on experiences of the author. But the best learning is based our own experiences. Let the book to be the guidance for us and we document our experiences for knowledge other people.

  52. Question 2
Its has been said, “ not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

Experience is the best teacher. Based on the experience that we have been through that we make us become more matured and be more carefully in our life. Compared with the book it also can be learned. But, not everything we learned only based on the book, experience is the most important.
Regards to the experience, it can reflect back what we learned before. For example, if we do not perform well before like in examinations, after this may be will work hard to achieve the highest. We can do more practises and read more. Same goes to, if we fall down before this and then have a chance to reach it back. So, why not we change the plan and do better than that. Then, we also do not to gain this knowledge from books.
In a carrier both are played a role. Such as if we become a teacher, we need the knowledge from books. This because, become a teacher, we need a facts and have to teach the students based on the text books. But, for the nurses they need at least three years experience to make them very skilful and can work at the overseas. They did not need a book to learn. The experience is the most important.
Experience also can improve our skill in term of learning. Example, if before this we give a speech to the in front of audience fell hand shaking, cannot pronounce an appropriate words and also fell embarrassing to the audience. By had an experience like this before, we can made some changes and may no more hand shaking or felt embarrassing to the audience.
When experiences have also can make us have a spirit, become more brave and strong. We do not afraid of what of we have been through before. So, by experience we can create a person to be careful and thinks matured. Even though by had experience we can sharing with our friends and can give some advices to those who had a same problem like us before. By using the experience method it is can gain more knowledge.

We learn from watching other in are surrounding, with experience, in school, from teachers and friends .We learn many things from book such as readings. It is said “Books are our best friend” . I think only by reading from book we don’t get throughout knowledge but we get it from experience.
Firstly, in my opinion reading books is not enough because in every field there are theory papers and particles. Theory only contains knowledge which is quit imaginative. To know the application of read knowledge we need to go apply it practically .For example cooking, by read the menu and imagine the delicious preservative add is not enough if not trying cook first whereby from there we will know what is the best way to cook besides follow our taste.
Secondly, the small example is riding a bicycle. When anyone taught you how to ride a bicycle, usually they give tips orally only. It is not enough but when we really want to ride it, we need to try start cycling which is many times would fall down. But this way never makes us give up easily until able riding faster and confidently.
Third, gain knowledge from experience is better for my opinion whereby we always can learn mistaken every time failed. For example at school, mathematic subject and science are needs practising but not remember based on formula only. There, they have to calculate and do some experiment to approve the answer. So, gain from experience is better from books.
Finally, in medical line also have proved that experience is most important rather than based on books only. For example medical student they have all theory papers to read but they are not actually a doctor till they know how to treat the patient and learn details regarding procedure in operation theatre. From that they need to go internship then after, they are certified as a physician. Same thing goes to student nurses, they are required to take care patient at ward with provides services by take good care of them. As a result, knowledge gain from experience but not exactly based in books during theories only.
To sum up, only reading is not enough for perfect knowledge but its application is very important whereby knowledge gained by book is not permanently absorbed to brain but by experience it goes hand in hand which is it would never be forgotten forever .

  54. It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

Learning is a process when somebody gains knowledge or skill whether by themselves or being taught by others. There are many ways of learning. Reading books is one way of gaining knowledge but not everything that is learned is contained in books. In my opinion, knowledge gained from experience is more important than knowledge gained from books.

Experience is the knowledge and skill that you have gained through doing something for a period of time. It can be knowledge or skill of repairing something, cooking, or even skill in sport such as dribbling a football. Experience is also the things that have happened that influence the way you think and behave. We can distinguish between the right and wrong or good and bad things from our past experience. For example, we will know that a bee is a dangerous insect if we’ve experienced get stung by it once and we will try to avoid the bee every time we saw it. We will never know the exact feeling of getting stung by a bee with only reading a book.

As we know, many books are written by people following what they have done or what they have gained through their past experiences. The greatest inventor in the past such as Thomas Alva Edison had created many devices without any manual books and successfully invents the filament bulb only with his own experiments. This has proved that knowledge that gained from experience is better.

In the medical practices, physicians and nurses improved their knowledge and skills throughout many years of practices. In fact, they have gone through many clinical practices during their student time before they graduate their courses. It would be difficult to them to know the best way to care for the patients with only reading or learning the theories in books rather than they experienced it themselves. The longer year of working they have, the more knowledge and skills they possess.

To sum up, knowledge that gained from experience is more valuable and important than knowledge that gained from books. Experience can never be bought anywhere at any time like books but only can be gained after you have been through it. You can never tell whether something that written in the books is true unless you experience it yourself.

  55. Which Source is More Importance Between Book and Experience

Book and practical experience is a main importance source to gain knowledge. Some people said book is more importance than experience and other person think practical experience will bring about more necessary knowledge than books do. Both source have own advantage.
On one hand, knowledge from books effectively provides people with basic information about what they need for their life. If we want to know about the world, we just take a book and read it. They no need to spent money to travel whole the world. In addition, knowledge from books is cumulated from one generation to others, so this has formed an abundant and systematic depository of knowledge for human. Before we get our job, we need go for studies to get the qualification on diploma, degree and master. Student needs theory and particle session to improve their skill.
If the nurses know what medication to give patient but they did no have skill how to syringe out the medication and how to give injection to patient it will harmful to patient. Experience is importance when working. Need a lot of practices to master the skill. On the other hand, knowledge gained from experience bring about practical feelings of life. No one can cook a good meal just after reading a book teaching cooking. No one can swim after reading a book teaching swimming. No one can do business well after reading business and economics books. Almost all things you apply into your real life stem from your own real experience. You can know how to effectively solve your problems only when you have to face them yourself. In short, experience gives people hands-on and realistic knowledge so that they could deal with their real issues in their real lives.
In general, real life provide people with more necessary knowledge than books. People still can live well without reading many books. We still can manage to become rich thanks to you own experience rather than reading business books. We may learn how to communicate effectively with people just because you contact with them frequently. That is not to mention the fact that all of knowledge from books is collected from real life in order to serve it only. So once knowledge obtained from experience assists you more effectively in real life, why don’t you more highly appreciate it?

  56. Question 2: 3rd august 2010(Tuesday)
It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?
“Not everything that is learned is contained in books”. I agree with that statement because in many aspects, we can get by experience which is contains more values own it. Most of jobs almost wanted the new staffs that have many experiences. Because, for a big company have wanted that person who got feeling of normal and calm facing a problem in the work place. For example, the person who starts from the bottom, that person are has a quality in their work.
In medical line, the new staff nurses, they are shivering when first time administering injection to the patient although they was learned the steps in the theory classes, but after second or a few time, they become expert on it. Same with the pharmacies staff, who has a long period of work, he or she are faster while provide the medication for the patient as prescribed by doctor. It is different with the new staff. They work a bit slow because they do not have experience yet. Its mean that the experience comes from practice, it can not get by just a reading.
Although, most of the carrier in this world needed the person with an experience. But, in education aspect like teachers and lecturer, they are group of person that must use the books to teach or educate the students. From the source of book, they can get the knowledge, but to attract the student’s attention during classes, they need a skill. The qualities of teaching are depend on the person experience.
As a conclusion, knowledge is unlimited, it can get from any source like books or journal. But to get expert in something, practice is the way to get an experience. So, I support that word ‘practice make perfect’. From the experience also, we can select for the good or bad for our safety life in the future.

  57. Student’s life is the best ways to learn many new things and knowledge. Not only the students. But as we go through actually every day we learnt new things without we realize. Some of the knowledge we gain from experience itself and sometimes we get from the resources such as book, journals or internet. In other hands, we need to know how to select the best sources that can help us more easily to understand the information that has been conveyed.
It depend to the certain of people on how do they study. They are no force for us to study. Some people felt more easily to gain the knowledge through their experience. From the experience, they can apply their theory during practical in order to get clearly understand. For example, the student nurse need more practical compared to theory so that they can relate their knowledge’s level with actual scenario. As we know, experience is the best teacher to teach us to be more independent and critical thinking.
Through the experience gain, they can be able to easy for memorize the important points. They can learnt from their mistakes and always remember and not to repeat the same mistakes in the future. Some people felt it is better ways to understand each learning subject rather than read a thick book whole night. Even though, we need a certain period of times to master a skill that we need to know but it is woth because we can always practice it until we successful. It is long term learning process and most of it help many of us to learnt better.
Despite from gained the knowledge from any reading materials such as book, journals or even internet, we tend to know about the fact only and need a good memory in order to memorize all the key points. It is also based on the fact only and we need to follow the fact compared from experience. We cannot simply change any fact and not give relevant any answers to the examiner. Also, we need to make a mind map in order to understand.
Besides that, of course we need to spend extra money to buy some books for our references. We need to struggle more in order to learn new things and knowledge. It also short term learning process. This is because each time the students having an exam, they only try to understand the questions wanted and immediately they would forgotten each single of notes after they finishing their exam.
To sum up, there were two ways of learning process for us in order to gained knowledge. It is individual’s perception toward flow of learning process and which is better way. To me, it is important to have balance equal both of them in order to understand the learning process.

  58. NOT EVERYTING THAT IS LEARNED IN CERTAINED IN BOOKS.COMPARE AND CONTRAST KNOWLEDGE FROM EXPERIENCE WITH KNOWLEDGE GAINED FROM BOOKS.IN YOUR OPINION,WHICH SOURCE IS MORE IMPORTANT?WHY?

Books are the best example to gain a better knowledge. Learning what that contained from book seems like reading about the fact text. Reading component tests for certain individual can be various types of text and source. The passage can be taken from journal, magazine, academic text or from other source. Assessment from book usually will cover comprehension, application, synthesis, evaluate analysis which include understand to making as reference also. From this statement, in my opinion, book are most important guide to gained the knowledge rather than experience.
Beside that, source that contained from book are usually will help in searching or interpreting linear subject. Most of the students having behavior to make a book as friends, for them it going to be a good friend especially for them while seat in examination. By reading contained from books, they can use it as a guided and help in theory part. For example, those who choose science or nursing field. Theory part are the most important part to regard the knowledge and apply through experience during work.
Furthermore, being a knowledgeable person will help our life making more easier. People who never be look in down toward us and more respect. They also happy to share anything with those particular person. Other than that, learning fact that contained from book will be easier understand. For example during discussion period, what they assess from book can be good and simple adjustment even though in difficult questions.
Moreover, everything that learned from books also have their own disadvantages, without truly experience some individual never had the chance to get better understanding especially regard the course that consist practical sessions. For example students who taking a technician, nursing based. They can be good in theory part but not necessary can be good in practical part especially while handling administration of injections. To fulfilled the criteria once searching for any vacancy, this people can use their extraordinary capability or experience to get whatever they wanted to.
To sum up, knowledge that gain from book and experience having same important it is because everybody can have a good in theory but without prolong experience life will be miserable as the proverb said “practice makes perfect”. Experience from knowledge will make people more understand and use a book as a guide to be more advanced in learning.

  59. 2. Knowledge gained from experience.
“Experience is the best teachers”. This good idiom shows that knowledge is often gained through the experience.
People always are learning and practicing through their whole lives. From reading words in textbook such as toy, car, train, people have the concept and ideas. They further understand the actual meaning of these words by playing toys and riding or driving cars and trains.
Education and experience are the main two channels for People to gain their knowledge. Each plays different roles for people. In my opinion, knowledge from experience is more important than that from books.
Experience first can prove if the knowledge formbooks are true or false. Textbooks are very wonderful in teaching people essential principles, how is the world looks like? What is the basic law of change of people and things? We can learn a lot through primary school, secondary school until university. However, people can only understand the really meaning of those formbooks and justify them if they are right through practices. A few hundred years ago, people learnt from textbook that the earth was flat. However, scientists found that was wrong through observations and measurement.
The knowledge from experience can improve and advance
the world and our society. As books have limitation, they only teach us what people found in the past. The knowledge from the books is constrained to the certain conditions and environment. For example, mould and tools design for plastics industry, the university course only taught very simple cases, most knowledge are obtained from various different and complicated cases.
There are a lot new inventions and new products that could not be found from textbooks. Our society and world are developed through continuous practices, those knowledge, never found in books, such as internet, e-business are all developed through new practices.
"The truth comes from practices and experience", people are continually discovering new things and assessing the creditability of the knowledge written in books. The knowledge from experience helps us much more than those from books. Therefore, as a conclusion, knowledge is gained more through the experience than from books. Even though, both are very important for a person to gained more knowledge. However, if we know how to implement knowledge from the book and implement through the practices and experience, it will be excellent.

  60. People are learning and developing throughout their whole life. They have gain knowledge not only from book but also from practice and experience. In my opinion, basic knowledge is important. Knowledge is learned in different way. Knowledge develops as professional, and in order to have career as well as paid job. But we also learn from mistake and from the errors that we have made throughout our life. They are both very important for us to be able gain different kind of knowledge’s.
Through the whole of our lives we do our best to gain the knowledge that will help us life better. We do our best while at school, at work, or anywhere. We just try to save as much information as possible. The second source of knowledge which I think is more important is experience, it gives me real life situations, and make I experiment all what I have learned in books, take for example physics and scientific experiments, it is important to witness it to understand it well, books will never be able to explain the experiment and the results better than seeing it in my real life.
Experience gives us the best knowledge and sometimes even in a short time and different ways of thinking, learn from other opinions and culture, and also not forget the help knowledge of books, because they also will never be replaced. From the experience we can do something better from other. We are human being and we learn to recognize when we make are mistake. This has development to become more mature as well as knowledgeable. We learn valuable lesson by person experiences every single day. We cannot become a professional, or work as one, without the training, and the education that we need in order to learn the main factors of that profession. These can be learned by experiences. We do not go, and work as a doctor. Otherwise no matter how experienced at working with sick people we may be, we could not do our job right. In addition, we would be putting people's life in danger.
In conclusion, both learning through experiences are important. We need them both in order to become professionals, and to learn lessons that we may use throughout our life. We cannot depend too much on just one knowledge, because in real life we using both of them. For instance, it wouldn't be practical to have knowledge about the economy, but not to know how to deal with a misunderstanding with your best friend.

  63. In this rapidly-changing world, learning is neccessary as never before. Man needs not just to satisfy his curiosity, but has to be able to compete with others. Many attend schools and colleges to further their knowledge; some take training courses according to their interests, while others prefer gaining knowlegde from books. Both ways are excellent ways to learn; however, they are different in many aspects.
In similarity, either by reading or experiencing, one will be able to learn almost everything he can think of. While experience is the knowledge gained from doing things, books are the record of it. Going abroad, for example, one can choose to get a plane ticket or buy books. While, experience it yourself in the real place is great. Books are also filled with enough pictures and information, written by others who have gone there, that is perfect for exploring the world at home.
The second difference is that books are not everything. There is no deny that books are the best source of mankind's knowledge. Unfortunately, There is no book that can teach you how to swim unless you actually do it; you cannot bake cake by just looking at a recipe; and none of the scientists won the noble prizes because they only read textbooks. Experience is needed. In addtition, hand-on experience will bring you problems and difficulties allowing you to develop skills neccessary to survive in the real world. Books may tell you some common problems but the skills can be developed only if you have experienced it yourself.
In conclusion, one can learn so much either by reading or experiencing. Books contain all sorts of information, while, experience are also an important knowlegde. Which is more important? The answer is both. In order to get the most out of learning, we are not only need raw information but also have to put it into practice; as a saying goes “practice makes perfect.” Conversely, before experience something one should have enough data about it; as a saying goes “it is as well to know which ways the wind blows.”

  64. Not everything that is learned is containing in the book. Learning process can also we started from an experience .knowledge can gained from the book and knowledge also can gained from the experience. Book is a source of the knowledge that is more importance than the knowledge that comes from an experience.
Book is works as a guided us about the knowledge and how we want to apply the experience with the knowledge itself. With the book we can gain our knowledge faster than the experience that we take to gain our knowledge. That is because, the experience is take time to gain our knowledge for example is the professor that research about the living thing is take a several years to found the new knowledge and with the experience of the researching, he gain the knowledge. If we also can gain from reading the book, why do we do a same research through take a several years just to gain the same knowledge? It will waste our time rather than we just read the book.
Book is also contain the knowledge that is comes from the experience that had been practice before to found the best solution of the problem itself. With the experience through the many of practicing, the researchers make a book to share the knowledge with other. That means experience is become before the book is published. That is because book is the best sources of the knowledge.
Furthermore, book is the learning process for the theory session. The theory session is more important to we gain the knowledge so we can deliver the best of experience. Experience is the practical session, which is the important to us to be prepared with a full of the knowledge before going to posting to provide the best quality of experience. That is because, the book is more important than the experience.
To sum up, book is the best of source to we gain our knowledge so we can give the best of services to make the experience give more knowledge that not contain in the book. Even though, many people said with experience we can get the truth knowledge that will we remember until the end of the day, but if without the knowledge the first experience that we get is the bad experience before we get the best of experience.

  66. It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in
books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience
with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source
    is more important? Why?

It is rightly said, ‘Not everything that is learned is contained in books’. Books are an important source of information and knowledge, but not the only source. Great deal of knowledge comes from life itself. Situations and experiences which arise in an individual’s life play an important role in teaching and contributing to knowledge and learning of an individual.

The knowledge gained from the books is immense and vast. By reading a variety of books, a person can acquire knowledge about different aspects and fields. For instance, by reading books related to sports, politics, movies, a person can enhance his knowledge from around the globe. Academic reading which gives great knowledge regarding different subjects cannot be obtained from experiences itself. This knowledge is particularly required to be successful in school, college and later or in the job.

Day-to-day life offers great experiences to a person, which imparts valuable knowledge to him. Experiencing and going through a variety of things in life teach a person from different angles and leave a deeper impact on him. For example, a person wants to learn driving a car. This learning can only be obtained by observing and practicing driving again and again until a person masters it. Books cannot teach a person how to drive a car. Having said that, it is not possible for a person to experience all the things, to obtain information. One has to read books to gain variety of knowledge.

Although, I feel that both sources of knowledge, from books as well as experiences have their own advantages, I personally feel that knowledge gained from books is more important. There are a couple of reasons for it.

Books can help a person gain vast knowledge from various aspects. The knowledge from books is important for building a career of a person and being successful in life. Knowledge acquired through experiences is limited and don’t play a major role in making a person successful. By saying this, I definitely don’t underestimate the value of knowledge through experience, but because of the above mentioned reasons, knowledge through books is more important.

All in all, both the sources of knowledge have their own importance as to the amount and type of knowledge acquired. But, if I have to pick one, knowledge gained from the books is more necessary for a person to be aware of various fields and to have a successful career.

  67. Week 1 – Question 2 – 3rd August 2010 (Tuesday)
It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?
Learning process is the most important scene in our life. Without learning human are just like a dead soul, living in an empty body. Knowledge that we gained through learning process will lead us to a better future. It will guide you to be the best person of your own and to be success in your life. The question is what is the most suitable way to gain knowledge? Is it via experiences throughout your life or depends on books as a medium for researches? For me not everything that is learned is contained in books. By only reading books and memorizing is not enough without experiences the situation by your own. Theories which you can gain from books are just a measure scale of our knowledge but the fact is “practice make perfect”.
Book is just a source of wisdom where human nature have strong tendency to forget about it. Otherwise, knowledge that you gained based on the experiences is better and stabilizes. Through experiences we can learn it by physically and may not be easily forgotten in the future. It is also time consuming by doing research and learn by theory from books.
Experience is more active part of learning than books. We don’t need to pay such attention while we experiencing compare to the book that is sometimes more difficult to understand. It is difficult to memorize and digest everything that is written in the books. Reading and learning is often boring and idle unless it is really interesting to attract you. Besides that, you need to give full attention to understand certain information written in the books while we don’t really need to do that while we experiencing. Moreover, we can experience and learn a new thing even while we are “playing with our friend”.
On the other hands, through practice we can gain experience because we already ultimately learn by doing it and it can spark our interest to generate our motivation to self-discover. In comparison, reading will only allows you to do one thing practical experience but you don’t learn from the mistakes of others. Books don’t always capture reality and there is no bias in the truth just like experience.
It is good to be wrong during experience of something rather than wrong without experience it. As an example, when we want to learn how to drive a car, we can’t learn through the book that provided by driving school only. Learn by heart and digest all the techniques to drive a car that written in the book but you still can’t even imagine the feel of driving. For sure, we have to experience by our own, how to drive until then we know how to control the car and to manage the situation while driving.
In conclusion, we can learn so much about ourselves and the world through books and others materials, but it is how we connect them with our real life experiences that matters most.

  69. Basically learning can be in two ways, either passive or active. Active learner is where people practice kinetically on what they learnt. This methods is more effective because a person may use all the senses when he practice the things on hands. In my opinion, I do believed that practice makes perfect and things that came from experience better than theory from the books.
Knowledge from books and knowledge that come from the experiences may be similar because books record the experiences of a man. Both are objectively connected but the final impact could be different because experiences have more to do with practices that make a person expert in doing certain things. It totally differs from books where we just abstract and keep the information in mind without putting it in reality. For example in nursing career where a nurse that good in theory may excel in the examination but cant do anything to the emergency situation because they never practice it in real life
Knowledge gained from books can’t be compared with the one gained from experience because books provide us with many theories and conceptions, but they cannot give us opportunities to perform it. This statement is very true because it can be clearly seen in the selection of worker in most of companies where they only employ workers who have experiences and knowledge rather employing person who passed exams with flying colours without any hands on job.
Experience is the best source of knowledge because from the experience people will be able to improve the quality of life by makes us expert in certain aspects that have to be in each of us. For example, surviving skills and other similar aspects of it. Experience gives different way in order to gain the knowledge better than gain knowledge from the books.
To sum up, sources of experience is more important it is because everyone can have books but when it comes to experiences, it is priceless and precious.

  70. Some of the career needs us to gain knowledge from experience and books. Unfortunately, there are jobs that required experience more such as nursing profession. Even though, knowledge that gained from books also important in the theory part. But, there are also compare and contrast between the experience and books.
In my opinion, experience is the most important to indicate the knowledge. Experiences will make someone’s gain practical knowledge apart from the information given. Person that have more experience are more mature in making their decision regards the quality of life. Through all the experiences, the individual could learn from their previous mistake and try to change and able to cope with other challenging.
Experience makes an individual become more independent and brave. They could apply the skill during the practical session. The experience person may think critically in order to settle the problem. The individual have the initiatives to come forward and learn new things. Even though, the knowledge that gain from books are not important in a different part of the career, appreciate the knowledge and learn harder. For examples, in a career of nursing, every student nurse or staff nurse have to be more independent in making a decision especially when handling with patient’s life.
Besides, person with more experience are being respect by others. All the experiences they have should be applied to the junior or young nowadays. From it, they know how to appreciate the learning and able to think out of the box when having some matters. Encouragement from the experience people important to prevent them from indicates low self esteem. Despite, they are more caliber than the others worker in every sector that they involve in. For examples, the individual may practice the best for their own needs.
Experience person always lean forward to learn new things. Even though, they have more experience but it does not mean they should proud of their ability. The person always be the smarter and haves a high confidence in learning. Besides they may try the best to makes someone proud. They could build up the confidence.
As a conclusion, the experiences are important in individual in making their life better. They should learn about the maturity and do not ever give up and struggle hard in learning the skill.

However, knowledge gained from books cannot be compared with that gained from experience. Both books and experiences provide us with knowledge, but the ways we approach the knowledge are different and what we get are different, too.

Everyone can have books, books are everywhere. You can buy books in bookstores without difficulties, just select and pay for them. Also, you can learn from books, and what you learn from this source can be gained from other people such as your teachers, your parents, your friends or even strange people. Because knowledge from books is gained from what people see and hear from the real life, anyway, it is motionless knowledge and you get it in a passive way. In contrast, the knowledge from experience requires you to go much, practice much and think much, such effort creates real knowledge, and you can gain it actively. Experience cannot be bought, you need to think about it, practice and produce it yourself. If experience is seen as a purchasable item, then the money used to buy it is not made from paper or zinc, but time and effort. The knowledge from books and that from experience are gained at different measures of difficulty, but what you gained from books is nothing compared to those from experiences, you always remember what you have to get with much effort for a longer period of time and in a deeper way.

However, knowledge from experience and knowledge from books have a relationship and they support each other. Actually, books are attached to experience, they cannot be created or even thought of without experience, just because they are products of experience and the motivation that forces people to preserve knowledge for future use. But how do books support experience? When you practice something, you get experience, but to know whether your experience is correct or not, besides verifying it through real life, you may also look for it in books and compare between your conclusion and theories in books. This way, you can use old and certain knowledge to confirm the new and uncertain one.

  72. Experience is most important in our life. Usually from experience we can gained a lot of knowledge whether it is nice or not. In life, experience can make another life change and learnt from a mistake.

For me, book and experience have the own good. Whether can apply it or not. Some people, they cannot depend just only from book but they need to gain both of them. For an example, engineer need to have a practical before she or he pass to do the work by themselves. So, experience take at first place. By that, our supervisor can make some interpretation about our skills.

From book, we cannot apply it into practical. It was theory that we can remember. But from experience, we can remember and practice. So, student has better learning and apply it the right situation on right time. With experience, we do not make any mistake because from that we had learnt.

Books also have a good advantage. Such as, improve our reading material and same time our general knowledge being exposed. The input in book is more on facts. Moreover, books are specific on that particular subject. But to buy some books are not cheaper because certain subjects are so expensive such as nursing course. In experience, it is a basic to do in daily work. Besides that, experience no need to buy with money. We can have it where ever we are as long we live in this earth.

Books can be our source because as a student, we need a lot to do research or case study. By this way, our research can be used or we can have a fact only and not a fake. Otherwise, we can improve our level thinking in making a research by book. For experience, it also can be a source to make our skill greater. For example, if we want to give an injection, at first time it wills shake but later on every time we used to do, it can make a perfect job.

Then, most important experience makes us know people surrounding.
It is because experiences are not available in books. By experience we can learnt more than a books. For me, books and experience need be stabilize. Cannot depend on books and experience only.

From where we able to gain knowledge? And what is knowledge use for? There is some question that we have to think in our life.We totally depending on knowledge that we have to achieve what we dream for. There is many ways or sources to gain knowledge and people usually have different way and style to make a choice. This situation will questioning ourself to make a good decision in our life.Wherether we depending on what we have learned from books or we follow the realistic way-from the experience.

Everybody has own lifestyle. Some people like to decorate their life by theoretical. And some more like to make it life more colorful with their own experience.Personally, i would like to say experience is the best teacher.Experience is more realistic and we will realized in this life people not just always can be perfect.Everybody did a mistake. The way we realized and think and some more try to improve ourself rather than making the same mistake again is the best process to gain knowledge.

I am not saying knowledge that we gain from books is not good.We still can apply all the knowledge or information from books into our life. But the question is that theorytical will deliver a good result in whatever we do in our life?We might me learned language, mathematics, science or other subjects from books but how about reality life?Is that we able to learn about respect people, good manner, helping people, family affair from books? The best solution is learning from experience.

In reality, people always more depending on experience to improve better. For an example, technical students who graduated from technical institution are more skillfull that students who graduated from normal university.Because they always expose to hands-on training. The training module more into practical.Similar to the real working environment. When the learning process deliver by hands-on method, students know how to use devices, how to communicate to superior, how to handle a crucial situation, how to solve a problem more precisely rather than what they gain from text books.

As a conclusion,I would say a quality knowledge is come from what we have faced in our life before. We definitely able to gain a priceless knowledge just from an experience.People don't know how to cry or smile by a single word from book but experience will teach people how to be a successful person.A sweet success will makes people cry and smile at the same time with a full of happiness.

A book is a set of printed pages that are fastened insides a cover. Knowledge means the information, understanding and skills that you gain through education or experiences. Means of experience is all about the knowledge and skill that have gained through doing something for a period of time. Which are more important, experiences or knowledge? For me, both of the elements are very important to our daily living need. Actually, they are connected each other and they have a link.

Without the knowledge, cannot gain our daily life with experiences. It is not everything in this world that is learned is contained in the books. From the books, we can gain the knowledge but not all the book can teach about how to gain the experience. Nowadays, majority of the company in the world highlight about the experiences of someone before employed them. I agree with the statement experiences are more important than knowledge. In the positive site, regarding the experiences we can know the ability someone to done their work. From that site, we can differentiate that someone has experience done their work compare to someone that only focus on knowledge.

Experience plays a more important role than knowledge in one’s success. Consider when someone becomes successful it is his experience rather than his knowledge. Because knowledge could be learn from books. Book written by a person can only reflect a few aspects of one’s mind. That is called knowledge. However, if learn from the person directly rather than through the book we can obtain a big feast of his mind. This is called experience. So we believe that experience is more important than knowledge.

Truth comes from experience and practice. About the knowledge comes into the world when someone meets or does something. Unusual, he has some unique feelings and consideration. This is called experience. Then he draws some conclusions from his experience and writes down and it the way how the knowledge is born. Therefore, experience is the mother of knowledge. Without it, knowledge could not exist in the world. Therefore, experience is more important than knowledge.

Experience is the only way to prove whether the knowledge true or false. Textbooks are very wonderful in teaching people essential principles, common sense, basic laws in the world. We can learn a lot through kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and university. But people can only understand the real meaning of knowledge in the books and judge them if they are right. For instance, a few hundred years ago, people learnt from books that the earth was flat. However, astronomers found it wrong through their experience of observations and measurement. Thus, I think that experience is more important than knowledge.

  75. People definitely have contrasting opinions one what is more important: gaining knowledge from experience vs. books. Admittedly, both sources of knowledge have advantages. Although we can’t reject the fact that “Not everything is learned is contained in books,” I believe that beyond experience, books can help us acquire more knowledge because we can’t experience everything in the world, the books we read are from authorities of knowledge and we can save a significant amount of time and money through acquiring knowledge via books.

The main reason why gaining knowledge through books is more important is that it gives us the chance to learn more than we can experience ourselves. There are a lot of things that we learn throughout our life, but we can’t experience them all. However, there are books for almost every subject and situation and they can help us learn each and everything we are interested in better. For instance, how could we possibly have learned about our forefathers without books? How could we also learn about the history of our countries without the events recorded in texts? Obviously, it is impossible to learn about the aforementioned through our personal experiences.

Another reason books are better is because they are more reliable than our own unprofessional perspectives. Books are written by scientists or other specialists who have a broad base of knowledge. As children or students of learning, we are still acquiring our knowledge and may not be able to formulate the correct ideas about many subjects. In contrast, the experts who typically write the books have much more understanding and can share that knowledge with us via the texts they write. Hence, the knowledge from books can help us understand things on a more wise level.

Lastly, gaining knowledge from books can save us a lot of time and energy. Students can debate and converse about theories in class, but their knowledge is limited to their young lives and may not have much behind the arguments. Also, the students can save a lot of time by relying on experts who have spent a significant amount of time already testing or analyzing the theories before writing them in the books we read. It can enhance our experiences and help us understand situations with more professional perspectives. The books can provide us all the details and explain to us the situations much more logically.

In conclusion, gaining knowledge from our experiences is very important. There is a common proverb that says “to see is to believe.” The proverb emphasizes the importance of experience. Despite that, due to the inability to experience everything we would want to learn, the lack of detail in our own experiences and the fact we don’t have all the time in the world, books can definitely enhance our learning so much more than by experience.

  76. It has been said that "Not everything that is learned is contained in books." Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion which source is more important? Why?

  77. Experience and book

Between experience and book have special it self. As a student we must refer to the both source which is book and get an experience. Both of the source must work together to make student become successful person in future. The most of our knowledge is based on the participation in real world situations.

Furthermore, book has own function and special. From reading the book, we can get more information and good theory. For the people who love read as their own hobbies can say book is everything. We acquire much knowledge about any subject like law, science, mathematics, history, literature, art, physics and others when we read. Beside that, we must read to know the information as the baseline to guide our knowledge. We could use other people’s information and experience for benefits our self without reading the book. But read without practise is not a right way. Like a mathematic if we know the formula but not practise just depends on the book is wrong. It is because practise can make someone perfect.

In addition, with reading the more books we can get great stories of people’s lives and can get many experiences about how they solve their daily problem. They can solve some problem with information from the book. From book we can also imaging what the story about. For example, many people like to read the novel and their will imaging the situation in novel.

Moreover, from experience we can learn more with understand. As we know experience is the best teacher. For example drive a car, firstly we must know the theory and than we must practise it to get the licence. It shows that book is not enough for us to learn something. We must practise because from the experience, we will get the good skill with observation.

To sum up, even books have a theory, basic information, formula and others we still need an experience to become good work. It is because without experience, it just like a useless. Knowing information just from the book still not enough to make someone apply what they had done learned before. So both are source is important to us to gain our knowledge.

  78. “Not everything that is learned is contained in book”, I strongly agree with this statement. For my opinion I believe that our knowledge can be gained from experience compare just depend totally on book or theory. People can be expert with certain profession if learn with own experience or get or share with another people experience.
Firstly. For me if we work hard to do something and did that frequent practice or exercise, we can get and do better than people who are just know a theory. For an example as a student nurse we have, at least two month in one semester to do practical at hospital. Our nurse instructor almost every day found the procedure to us practice. Sometime it not same with what we learn because all this depend on condition. As example, care assistant are not even learn anything about medical line but after four to five year work their can do their jip very well.
Next a statement “practice make perfect”, it mean when we do a lot practice and learn with our previous experience it can improve our self and make a job is prefect for example injection procedure if we try take a charge to do this procedure if we try take a change to do frequently, so that we can get expert and perfect with that.
Beside that, we also need to get an experience from a person who is having more great experience. It is because they more expose too many situation everyday they will repeat a same work. For an example a nurse is work at maternity ward. They were doing valve swabbing everything to all type of person. So can ask for help to them for improve their self.
Even we as a diploma student want to further study to continue a degree; equipment is a student at lease has 2 year experience work before continue further. It is maybe because they want a student full of skill and not just depend on theory. A student at least gets experience handle a patient with many type of complication and disease. It can give a student feel more matured.
As a conclusion is collect an experience are the most effective way to improve knowledge. More we try to get experience better we are. Went experience person a start talk, we know it all are right mad they already did all that, .practice make perfect.

  79. The main reason why gaining knowledge from books is more important is because we can’t experience everything in the world.

Another reason is because books are quite more reliable than our own perspectives or experiences. Books generally have many kinds of information and displays such things like author’s opinion, style of writing. Sometimes, books are written by scientists or people from ancient times to present, from home and abroad. They are the symbols of wisdom. Considering with our own aspects of something could be incorrect while with the ideas and facets in which books describe are more considered as reliable. Hence, the knowledge from books can help us understand things more quickly and even better.

As to the last point, gaining knowledge from books can save us a lot of time and energy. Let’s say that students talk or learn about the theories in class. Actually, it is not necessary for students to test every theory in one’s own experiences; and it is not necessary to get involved in explaining every phenomenon we meet by our own experiences. If we just look into the books, we can learn lots of details and explanations more logically and understandably.

Now to conclude, gaining knowledge from experiences are also very important in our life. There is a proverb ‘to see is to believe’. This emphasizes the importance of experiencing. Despite that, due to the previous three reasons, I would say gained knowledge by books are more important than gained knowledge by experiences.

  81. Upon the question that which source is more important? Gaining knowledge from experience or from books? People may have different opinions. Admittedly, both have advantages and they are important. We can’t reject the fact that ‘Not everything that is learned is contained in books.”If we say that we are trying to learn how to swim, we can’t learn the whole things specifically without experiences. The main reason why gaining knowledge from books is more important is because we can’t experience everything in the world. There are lots of things that we learn through our life and we can’t learn them all by experiencing. Obviously, it is impossible to learn these things by experiences.

Another reason is because books are quite more reliable than our own perspectives or experiences. Books generally have many kinds of information and display such things like author’s opinion, style of writing.

Now to conclude, gaining knowledge from experiences is also very important in our life. There is a proverb ‘to see is to believe’. This emphasizes the importance of experiencing. Despite that, due to the previous three reasons, I would say gained knowledge by books are more important than gained knowledge by experiences.
